Does anyone ever do an IMAX workout followed by legs? I was thinking if it is possble to do IMAX3 (or IMAX2) followed by 4DS split premix for lower body.
You could do that. However, I think (my opinion) that your leg workout would suffer. The IMAXes are intense cardio and will burn up your glycogen that you need for those muscles. You could do the wt work first and follow it up with the cardio after. I guess it all depends on what your goals are.
One of my favorite, kick butt workouts is to do Slow and Heavy Legs followed by Imax 2. Doing S&H first ensures that I'll go as heavy as I can, and then I shake out the "jello-legs" with Imax 2. It's hard (and long!) but a great workout.
