Morning!
Er, good afternoon! http://www.freesmileys.org/smileys/sleep008.gif
I am off on a verrrry late start. I ended up not being able to fall asleep until about 4:30am and then finally managed to get myself up at 11am. So it's now 3:30pm and I've just finished my smoothie.
I did ME upper body premix and hey, it was pretty good! http://www.freesmileys.org/smileys/dance001.gif
You know, I've gotten into the bad habit of trying to collect as many pieces of cardboard off my carpet as I can in between sets. Not a good habit. Though my carpet looks better after I workout.
I'm definitely going to get a bird feeder to hang from the metal bars of my balcony. One question - what would be the difference in say, just scattering seed on the balcony itself? We're talking wind factor stuff? Okay, okay, I'll get a feeder.
Lastly, Robin said something very important and I thought I should copy paste it here for you all to read one more time, as it really reflects what I am feeling, as proven by my rotation :
>Amazingly, I've been doing wonderfully with my eating and have lost a couple pounds, all without any cardio! Maybe you haters are on to something.

I shall remind you that Robin was also the genius behind recommending I do my leg DVDs but skip over the lunging and squatting, thus making for a great compact workout.

No cardio! No squats/lunges! WOO HOO!

Whoops... I mean...

DANA - What Pilates workout? LOL. Nope. I didn't get to it yet so it's still bold on my dang rotation list which I hate to see every morning LOL. Being sick twice already this year sucks. Do you have a plan for getting back into a rotation soon now that you're feeling better?
>We were intruded by tons of birds and they pooped all over my deck and grill.
LOL. I can see how that wouldn't trump watching birds nibble at seeds.
>My MIL's neighbors have different types of feeders for different birds and you should see all the different birds that visit them. It is really cool!
That is totally cool. When I was growing up in Oregon, as you can imagine, we had a TON of wildlife in the backyard and it was so normal and no big deal to me. I don't think there was a day that would pass by without seeing all kinds of birds, squirrels (real ones LOL), opossums, the sometimes duck or two, and even a peacock if you can believe it, and various neighborhood cats.
I can hear a lot of birds outside my window here in Tokyo (and so can Mooch and Cham), so hopefully I'll be able to lure them in for some entertainment.
>This morning on my way to work I saw the weirdest thing. I saw this strange man dresses in camoflauge pants, a trench coat, carrying a rifle. He looked so odd. So I get to work
LMAO! You see that and you just go to work?! LOL!
Good luck on the workout room! We're keeping our fingers crossed for light and other goodies LOL!
ROBIN - Glad to hear that your knee is doing better and your home is getting cleaner. That's a nice bonus!
>Hey August, I just googled birds of Japan. If someone looks up at your balcony with binoculars and yells "Great Tit," don't get offended!
OMG!! LMAO!!!
Offended?! Heck no, I'd be FLOORED!
>August, birds are amazing and will find the feeder. I'm interested in what kind of birds you have in Japan.
I'm really looking forward to getting the feeder and setting it up for Mooch and Cham...er, I mean, the birdies. It will be such fun! I have to find some time to go to the store to pick stuff up.
MICHELE - Heya! Were you able to get some good rest? I'm so glad to hear you had a nice dinner out with your DH.
>I don't think she'll have full use of that arm (her dominant, right arm)
Being a lefty and having extra brain talents because of it , I must say that your niece is in for a nice treat! Working with her other arm will open up all sorts of cool brain doors for sure!
SHANNON - Just had to say hi to you again!
All right, jeez, it's almost time for dinner.
Laters!
