I've been MIA due to working at mom's business with holidays coming up. I've been working out like a maniac though. :D I've been keeping up with everyone but waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay too tired to post.

MsHB, I understand you're very angry with Debbie. They didn't get it on in person. You chose to leave your husband instead of trying to work it out so that's your problem. What happened happened a YEAR ago. She came clean which I have tremendous respect for her because it's none of our business but because YOU made it into our business, Debbie came clean. You really have nothing to do, eh? Honestly, I do not buy your story about you leaving hubby and your family to live in another state. You're trying to get your revenge on Debbie. Please go harass someone else.

Anyway, Debbie, Toasty and others, have you guys listened to Buckcherry's new album, Black Butterfly? I LOVE it. Really pumps me up. Where's Lora so she can let me know how she likes it. LOL

Workout is done. I don't think my heart rate monitor isn't working right. I am getting less of a calorie burn with the same workouts no matter how much effort I put in. Today I did Ripped 1000, then I did Kelly Coffey
s Cardio Sculpt Fitness no w/up then Circuit Zone legs and bonus legs, bis and tris and triceps burn, versa loop lower and bonus, 10 Minute solution Sculpt Tone and Reshape jiggle free buns and thighs segment(wanted to try my new Cathe heavy 8 band) and Hi/Lo Dome stretch. Total calorie burn today was 1030. The thing is with my calorie burns 3 weeks ago I burned 525 cal with Ripped 1000 and was in my high zone more often, last week I burned 437 calories doing it, and today it was 481 because I really tried to extend those cardio segments while Jari was doing the stretching breaks. Guess I just don't get why so different.
Today so far I have eaten plain fat freeyogurt with chocolate whey protein and Peanut Wonder(pretty good not quite the same as natural peanut butter since the soy comes through a bit, but saves loads of fat and calories 100 cal and 2 gr fat) Promised I would take the granddaughters to Sonic tonight. Not sure what I will get. Usually just get a salad and put my own dressing on it. I am getting kind of tired of that. Maybe I should stop off at two places;)

Debbie, I hope you and your husband can get past all of this. In the end maybe you both can come out with a stronger bond. It is too bad that this other person has felt the need to drag this stuff out here. Hopefully someday she can move on and be able to enjoy her life again.

Debbie, I do think that was brave of you to own up to the past and like you said, you are human, we all are, and we all make mistakes. I have definitely done things I am not proud of. The important thing is you and your husband are moving beyond this and are getting closer. That is wonderful and I'm so glad to hear it.

MsB...what more can anyone do but apologize? Debbie already did that. you are clearly still hurt, but this isnt doing any good for anyone. Obviously I do not know all the particulars of the situation, but I myself am a divorced woman, and from my own experiences and experiences derived from counseling, I am of the opinion that people don't stray when the marriage is great. When there are problems, when emotional needs aren't being met, then they stray. It is ultimately the responsibility of you and your husband to protect your marriage. You cannot displace your bad feelings on another person. In all seriousness, maybe counseling would be good. I have gone to counseling myself through my church and found it beneficial.

Now then...as to workout type things...I'm curious appx how many minutes a week you all work your abs? I feel like I work mine a lot, but they're not as awesome as I want them to be. Sigh.
 
Hermia, I work my abs for around 30-40 minutes 3 times a week. If there is an ab workout attached to another workout I sometimes will go ahead and do it on other days like today when I was doing the circuits. But I aim for three workouts a week.
 
Diane Sue - I have got to ask you this. I've wanted to ever since I joined the forum and saw your workouts that you were posting. How long do you work out each day? Seems like it must be about 5 hours!!! :eek: It makes me tired to just read what you have done :) And thanks for the welcome - would you chics mind an extra person on the check-in? I've always wanted to be a part of this group!
 
MeowRacer, my workouts usually run 2-2 1/2 hours. I do portions of different workouts and skip some of the extra w/ups and stretches so it cuts it down from what the full workout time would be:) It just seems like it would be really long. I really don't like to skip out the stretches to much. I would love to have you join the check in:)

Wow, Diane Sue, you work your abs a lot...maybe I need to add some extra ab time in. I work them 45-60 minutes a week, although this week will likely end up on the lower end.

I'm happy with my workout today. I did the 2 set legs premix from Amy's Slo Mo followed by 50 calf raises and then the non-stability ball ab work from Butts n Gutts.

I'm pretty sure tomorrow will be my rest day.
