I am just starting us off, about to take on Billy Blanks Ultimate Tae Bo. This is going to be a real challenge for me, bbl:eek::confused::eek:
 
Last night was DS's turn with the virus, so up most of the night with him. I only managed the step combos from IMAX 2 & 3 and added the first combo & blast from LIS, then the Sitting Stretch from Tamilee. Workout was 1:08 and I burned 456 calories.

Going out with DH and Sister & BIL to show at casino tonight. I need a nap!!!
 
Done :rolleyes::rolleyes: I did the entire workout which was 1 hour and 30 minutes. I am TIRED my legs are sore Excellent workout.

BTW, STS is a MASTERPIECE!

Linda: So sorry that DS caught the bug too- it takes forever to purge it from your house. I'm impressed you got a workout in, too! Take that nap!

I have cardio or circuit on my agenda for the day- not sure what I'll do yet. I have Hard Work Conditioning 2 and haven't done it yet. It's been calling to me, so maybe I'll do that with some light weights for a complete cardio kind of thing.
 
Morning Maniacs!

Began my workouts again yesterday. Started with legs, felt very strong! Amazing what a recovery week can do for ya! I did GS legs but modified to fit my needs.
Squats: warm-up-65#/10, 85#/10/10, 90#/8
Front Lunges: 20# db-1 set-followed Cathe, 2 set-static lunge 10x w/bonus 15 pulse/7 pulse
Plie Squats: 80# 2 sets 8/8 10 count pulse
Deadlifts: 70# 1 set-toes elevated, 2nd set platform
Slow Motion Lunges: 10# mama mia!!!! This exercise alone was worth the purchase of GS!
Firewalker/Glute Squeezes: 2x

I posted my January pics. In January my focus was on abs as well as diet....carb cycling and calorie tapering. Carb cycling is tougher than I thought. Not that easy to reduce carb intake but I learned alot and will be applying the same concept for February. In February the focus will be lower body. I am doing one of Debbie's rotations using GS w/2x week lower body workout. For UB will focus on lifting heavier....only 6-8 reps.

Since Dec. 1 I have lost 3% BF and 5 pounds. Didn't really want to lose that much weight so I will also focus on increasing my caloric intake this month....easier said than done!

Heading upstairs to do IMAX 2 then off to get a facial! :D

Linda...so sorry DS got virus. You have had a tough week...it can only get better from here, right?

Yep 90 minutes of kicks, jabs, upper cuts and more, I tell you, after I took my bath I was done:eek: I got back in my bed and took a nap I couldn't move me still in bed! That workout wiped me out I don't know if was just bc I haven't done cardio in a while like that, who knows. But, I liked it.

I previewed STS disk 1 and 2 Alls I can say is Ooh we! Cathe out done herself. Tonight I'm going to preview Legs then starting rotation tomorrow. I'm getting back in me bed, tty guys later.

Sonya: WTG on the 3% body fat- that's great! As for gaining weight back, well, I would manage it somehow. :p

I did Hard Work Conditioning 2 today- someone remind me why I ever liked circuits? I'm wiped out. I did get a great cardio workout today which is what I wanted and he focuses on a lot of compound moves that challenge balance, which I need. But I found I had to be careful not to twist or stumble during his crazy diagonal lunges and squats since my HR stayed pretty high. I burned 777 calories. Woo hoo!

I got in my workout and ran my errands. Boy was the grocery store busy :shock: If anything I should be getting a lot more flexible from all of this stretching. LOL
This morning I did S&H triceps w/up and Empire State joint mobility, Slow and Heavy Triceps, Gym Style Triceps, Slow and heavy abs, Core Max premix balanced core, Yoga Booty Ballet yoga core, Cathe's stretch basic, ball1,ball2 and rolled out my legs on the foam roller. Total calories burned was 511. I packed up the dogs doggie bags. Since they are staying the night tomorrow with family memebers. I have an insert that hold their names :lol: They are getting excited just because I am messing with their bags, food, and taking things to the car :lol: I weighed in today at 114lbs. I wanted to get that out of the way before I start STS. I will start Wednesday hopefully. Knee is still bothering me.

Workout was like this:
S&H triceps
Overhead triceps extensions 1x8reps 20#, 2x8reps 25#
lying tricep extensions 3x8reps 15# dumbbells
kickback 1x8reps 15# dumbbells, 2x8reps 12# dumbbells
dips 2x8reps 45# barbell in lap
GS triceps
Dips no wt
lying extensions 2x8reps 15 lb dumbbells
seated tricep extensions 2x12 reps 25# dumbbells
cross body extensions 1x12reps 15# dumbbell; 1x12 reps 12# dumbbell
bonus band burn purple dynaband
tricep kickbacks 2x10reps 15# dumbbells
bonus burn kickbacks purple dynaband
Core Max I used a 10# med ball and 15# dumbbell for some of the crunches.

Sonya, you got some good weights in there today. Way to go! :D

Patti, nice calorie burn. I find circuits are great for getting in weights and cardio. They do take a lot out of you
