***DAMAGE CONTROL***February

Hi Ladies,

I'm down for the count....and have "walking pneumonia". It was tough getting through the weight w/o's yesterday but I didn't want to fall behind on the rotation. My chest was so tight and I was having trouble breathing, I knew it must be bronchitis or something along those lines. It kicked in pretty hard yesterday afternoon and I went to the Dr. first thing this morning. Because it's been going on for so long, he gave me some strong meds and said I should be feeling a lot better within 24-48 hours. I'm heading back to bed and am going to watch Chelsea Lately recordings until I fall asleep.

Laura-your DH made me laugh...saw you on those frisbee thingies....LOL

Lori-you just had a baby, be kinder to yourself missy. I'm sure you will see huge improvements in a month. To bad you didn't take them when you got home so you can see how much you've already improved!

Wendy-have you considered giving up wine or captain???? LOL JK The boys went to see Safehouse and another movie that escapes me right now. Thankfully, the boys were up early since one of them had to leave for a boy scout function. I was glad I got my w/o in before I started feeling worse. How did the Chinese dinner turn out?

Allee-yay, CSS is a fun w/o!!! Glad you liked it!

Good Afternoon.

No work out for me today. Scheduled rest day. I considered working out anyway since I indulged in extra wine and chocolate chip cookies last night but I was just too darned sore and tired to be bothered when the alarm went off this morning. :rolleyes::p The rest probably did me more good then the extra work out would have anyway though, right? :confused:

Di:: LOL, re quitting the captn or the wine. Perhaps I should! :p Dinner was tastey. I will try to post it on FB tonight. I forgot to last night and this morning. :rolleyes: Walking pneumonia--my BGF has had that. Not fun from what I hear! Be careful! Get some rest so you can get well!

Laura:: Glad you won at the casino! I don't know why I keep misreading stuff lately. In my defense the words ARE similar though! :p LOL So are you going to give in and slide some P90X into your rotation any time soon? ;) I gotta say back to back X this weekend left me FRIED! They are still excellent work outs! :cool: Betty Crocker Light...hmmm...I like that! LOL Thank you! :)

Lori:: You say Intensity, I say Insanity. Di says Karaoke, I say Karate! :p:D;) Glad you were able to get your DS to sleep you that you could finish LM. The chinese dinner was tasty!

So yesterdays approach didnt work! LOL Im to tired after dinner to workout. I think I flaked out for an hour on the couch with the baby! Soooo...I have a new approach.Weights first, feed him, then cardio:) Its hard to feed him after cardio cause Im to swaety!

Diana** Ugh! Atleast you know whats wrong with you now. I know I am being hard on myself.Sometimes I forget that its only been 4 weeks!

Wendy** I think my rest days will be Thursdays cause DS has skating. Glad to hear your food was yummy. So many things I cant eat when Im nursing. I wish sugar was one of them!

Laura** I think Monday comes to quick for a lot of people. I know DH wasnt happy yesterday morning either;)

Morning.

No work out for me this morning. Went to bed nice and early and STILL was too lazy get my arse up in time for a work out. :eek::rolleyes::confused: I may try to work out tonight after dinner but that USUALLY doesn't work out well so I make no promises...:p

Lori:: Looks like you and I are in the same boat with the after dinner work outs. I remember before I had my son I would ALWAYS work out after dinner during the week but once I had him that all changed! Ofcourse, I wondered how I would get up in the pre-dawn hours to exercise once I started working f/t again after having him and I did it even though it seemed IMPOSSIBLE! I guess where there's a will there's a way! So that says that you and I just don't want the after dinner work out bed enough I guess! :p

what a DREARy day .. drizzly and depressing!! SIL and I did STS TB last night .. FRIED .. I mean ANNHILATED my upper body - I am not as sore as I expected to be (doms in chest and arms tho) .. but the day is young yet!!! :confused: I am still filling in in another office .. i may try an xfactor workout today at lunch .. then tonight is Speed and Agility .. I need the CARDIO for sure .. I got my new swimsuits in :( :mad: :(:( .. wish there was an icon for a crying fit . . HOW FFFFFFN DEPRESSING!!! CRAP .... I may have to send one back .. b/c the TOP is too small/tight .. BOOBS??? LATS??? IDK .. but CRAP .. I have never had a problem fitting my TOP!!!! {{{ insert crying fit}} and lets not even talk about the gut - it is beyond FLUFF :(:(:(:( OK .. i have got to control the sweets and JUNK .. OMG .. i am sick!!! I knew it would be a shock .. but CRAP {{{insert crying tantrum }}}

Lori - well at least your extra fluff is BABY .. i have NO excuses!!!!

WEndy - 2 rest days .. wow girlie .. I could not/would not work out if i had to after supper .. yikes!! NO WONDER you get up and get it over with!!

Di - OH MAN .. i hate to hear walking pneumonia .. yikes .. your chest should be hurting .. and think you pushed to workout when you should have rested .. now mind the doc .. take your meds and rest and recoop!!! sorry!!

Ok...so that plan worked...kind of! I wouldnt push it everyday though. I did 4DS chest/shoul/tri premix, tried to feed him but he was out for the count so I got on the TM anyway. He stirred a couple if times but I managed 45 mins ( was getting off anyway) and he lost his marbels. Went from sleeping to starving in seconds! Oh well! We are both happy now. Workout is done and he is getting milk!

Wendy** I use to love evening runs and did them often before DS1. I use to have so much energy, probably from eating all day...but the other downside was needing to use the washroom!.....from eating all day!:confused: Times have changed! To sleepy....and for good reasons!

Laura** If it helps I pictured you throwing a tantrum!:p

I may bbl! DS1 is having a friend over to play...not sure how crazy my house will be:confused:

Laura::: So sorry for your bathing suit sadness! :( I have been there many times...*sigh*...I know you will work your tush off tho (both physically and in the food dept) to get the results you seek though! Now GO GO GO! :D

Lori::: Having a baby is a tiring job. Heck, being a mom is a tiring job no matter how old the kids are! I am exhausted with just ONE and you have THREE!!! :eek: Great job getting your work out done! :)

So it's after 4pm and I am STILL considering a work out later! This is a good sign! Wish me luck! ;)
 
Hi Ladies,

I was feeling pretty crappy this morning, but am feeling a bit better now. Obviously I'm not working out, not sure when I will resume.

DH and I have dinner plans at a nice restaurant for Denver Restaurant Week. The theme is you get a 3 or 4 course meal for $52.80. DH thought the dinner was off because I am sick, but you still gotta eat. Besides, I rarely get a date night and am not missing it!

I didn't work yesterday or today. I slept too much yesterday and was awake at 2am this morning. Today I got up at 7:30 and have been up all day. I paid the bills, balanced the checkbook, filed, etc. I feel so accomplished. Tomorrow I'll be working from home though.

Lori-there's no way I could work out after dinner...gross. I prefer my pre-breakfast workouts for sure. So glad you found a plan that works for you and baby!

Laura-sorry about the swimsuit issues, it will be better soon. Order whatever size fits, you should feel comfortable in your clothes regardless of the size. Sizing is so different by manufacturer anyway, don't read too much into it. I think my next w/o may be STS total body, love that w/o.

Wendy-maybe you just needed the extra sleep....no worries. I've been watching the BR w/o's and wishing I could do them. If weights is on the agenda, that would be okay for an after dinner w/o.

Good Morning Glories.

Well I did it! I came home, had a sandwich and got to it! I got TBTS Upper Body DONE by 7pm so day 1 of week 4 of the rotation got done on time after all! WOOT! :D First time I ever did that one as produced. I've done the 2 day split of TBTS Upper but not the orginal full work out. I liked it. Time flew by! :)

This morning I have GS Legs on tap in lieu of STS D17 legs. Subbing more so b/c I just really WANT to do GS Legs (it's been ages!!!!) then because I DON'T want to do the w/o on the schedule.

Diana:: Feel better soon! Too cute that you refuse to cancel date night. ENJOY!

Good Morning,

I think todays workout will be 4DS bic and back premix and more cardio. No other plans today. DS1 has had a play date the last 2 days so it will be nice to be alone this afternoon.

Diana** Meals out are always nice. Sometimes the bill isnt always nice but thats it! I could easily workout after dinner these days cause my dinner consist of a salad and meat...far from full!

Wendy** Good job getting yout workout done!!

GS Legs is done but I didn't have time for the entire thing so I did all of the standing leg work plus inner thighs only on the floor work. Puke status was acheived and my legs are STILL shakey 2.5 hours after finishing the work out! :eek::eek::eek:

Lori:: Bless your heart (as Laura would say) for enduring play dates 2 day in a row! You deserve some peace and quiet! LOL Enjoy your work out!
 
Good Morning Ladies!

My dinner date was fabulous. I had a lettuce wedge, salmon & veggies, grand marnier chocolate mousse-this was heavenly! I also had 2 amaretto sours, delicious!

I'm still feeling a little under the weather but will be working from home today. I might be able to get away with a weight w/o, but probably won't do anything again today..maybe tomorrow.

Wendy-nice job with GS legs, love that w/o too. I plan on modifying the rotation when I start w/o again so I don't have to make-up all my missed w/o's. I may be able to fit them all in since the recovery week starts on Sat for me. I could just push back the recovery week.

Lori-your protein and veggie meals along with your double w/o sessions should have you back in your bikini in no time!!! Are you taking a vacation this year..besides the whole year? ;) We are planning on going to Maine to visit DH's uncle and cousins. His aunt just passed away last week and DH chose not to go out for the memorial, but to go visit this summer instead. Based on DS's football schedule, we'll probably have to go sometime in July.

Ended up doing 4DS back and bic's as planned but then I pulled out the Viper. Its amaxing how we can go ages without doing these step workouts and remember them! I managed to do half of it before I had to stop, which was still 40 mins or so. Im planning on doing pilates abs after lunch.

WED - hump day

hey girlies ..

It is crazy .. FIRST of the month looming .. boss is out sick and yet another girl is out today :confused: ahhhhhhhhhhh .. I will never see my desk at this rate!!! OH WELL .. DOMS: shoulders and chest still!!! S&A was a sweatfest last night .. wow .. did SIL and I ever sweat a ton!!! felt great .. today we hit the CC and did heavy weights .. the legs were HEAVY!!!! Tonight is AFTERBURN!!! :eek: I will be fried by tmrw!!

Wendy - WTG on getting the workout in last night!! woot woot!!! and another congrats on achieving puke factor today :eek: :D:D

Di - hope you are feeling better -

Lori - well the little one let you work out to MOST of the workout ... that is progress!!! You are banging out the workouts woman!! WTG!!!
