Yes I'm feeling better - but of course this threw off my workouts! Gotta do my 25 tomorrow. I just got home from working out with the girls and we did supersets which is normally pretty easy, but being out of it - IT WASN'T!! I hate getting back into it!! I'm determined to go for a long walk/run tomorrow. You guys are all doing GREAT on your chins. Joanne...you are amazing. Your back muscles will get stronger and stronger as you do the single sets. Wait to go!!!!

Been a busy week, sorry to go MIA!! Will try harder! You guys motivate me so much. Catherine - your muscles must be bulging!! I like your new picture - who are you with? Have a great day everyone.

Briee, glad you are back and feeling better!! I agree getting back into it is sooooooooo hard.

That is my DN with me. She's a sweetheart!! Actually she's me reincarnated LOL!! Wait, can you be reincarnated while you are still living :+ Oh and my legs are getting bigger x( I know it's a good thing, but pants are getting tight. I need to do a little leaning out soon. Just can not get disciplined enough with my eating.

Good Morning Ladies!

Welcome back, Briee. Glad you're feeling better.

Yesterday I did Lisa Nunziella's 5-Day Latin Dance: Cha Cha, Samba and Salsa. Dance workouts are always great for me at burning that fat off. Did 3 chins in a row yesterday for the first time!:)

Today was Tracey's Strictly Upper Body. Great endurance workout! Also did Cathe's PLB stability ball legs and PUB abs. Had to take a break during PUB plank work. One of these days I'll get through those abs without stopping. Did one close grip pullup and one chinup.

Catherine - I totally understand about the eating. It would be so nice if working out was enough.

Does the happy dance for Marcy and her 3 chinups!!! AWESOME!!

I am planning chinups and lower body this evening. Seriously hoping life doesn't get in the way. My DN in my avi is sick. She appears to have ITP which is a low platelt count usually due to a virus. Platelets are what helps clot your blood. Normal level is >150,000 and hers is 43,000. If it drops or doesn't go up she may need to be hospitalized :(

OK, DN is hanging in there and has an appointment specialist tomorrow. This thing should actually resolve itself, but she needs careful monitoring till it does.

My workout tonight Legs and Chins.
Squats-(after warmup) 85# 3 sets of 10
Chinups 5 reps (all chinups were unassisted)
RDLs 70# 3 sets of 12
Chinups 5 reps
Front Squats 45# 2 sets of 10; 50# 1 set of 10
Chinups 5 reps
Good Mornings 50# 3 sets of 10
Chinups 5 reps
Calf Raises 100# 3 sets of 20
Chinups- 5 reps
Followed up with a 30 min steady state step routine

I am fried!!!! I just recently added good mornings :eek: :eek: My tushie is sore already!!!

OK, now someone help me think of a snazzy new thread title. This one is getting a bit long!!

Catherine...I'm prayin for your neice too. Glad she is doing better...keep us posted. Hey...I just saw your message on facebook today (which I really never check...it's dh's account mostly so we can oversee the kids)so I added you to my friends list Catherine. Again...I rarely check it, but I'll try to from time to time. Our family pic is up, but you can hardly see me and dh....we were kind of a motley crew as we were at the end of a waterpark excursion!!

Lets see...chins. On Wednesday I did 5 wide p/u, 6 chins, 7 wide p/u, 5chins, 5 wide p/u., Friday: 5 w/p/u, 5 chins, 5 w/p/u, 5 chins, 5 w/p/u, 5chins. (did a few extra each day...just happened to feel good:7 :7 ). I'm going to try and stick with 25 each day for the most part to avoid that overtraining thing}( }( .

Marcy...great job on your chins up there!!!!! Joanne...whatcha up to?
