Wendy, I would most likely do the increase every other week as well. Absolutely, 11 miles is fine. When I did my half, my long runs were 9-10 miles tops.

Just came in from my run ~ 3.1 strong miles. I was surprised at how good my legs felt after blastin' em with GS Legs. And the highlight? The shirtless hottie who was (unfortunately) running in the OTHER direction. }(
