Not Cathe, but generally she recommends one day between weight workouts for any body part to allow the muscles to rest, recover and grow. Some of Cathe's rotations will have a circuit workout the day after a weight workout day as circuit weight work is usually lighter and doesn't bring the muscles to failure. Just to be safe, I think your idea of putting a cardio or rest day in between the 3 workouts you mentioned is a good one. It will also help reduce the likelihood of injury or burnout. HTH!
