    FIT TV wants your input

Survey answers! Hey Cathe, here are my answers! What time of day do you typically workout? Please be specific (ie: mornings at 5am) I typically work out between 7pm and 10pm in the evening. On the weekends I'll work out in the afternoon or early evening. 2) How many days a week do you...

    Stability Ball?

Anyone know how many of Cathe's videos feature a stability ball? I know Supersets does and Pyramid lower body.

    Lower back and planks! Progress..

I just did Boot Camp on Thursday (FitTV) and boy will I be saving that one for when I'm more fit! I find that anytime I do planks without bent knees my body trembles and I have to drop my hips so that my lower back doesn't pain me. (anyone else experience this?) And the jumping up and down...

    We're filming!

I'm a minimalist as well but if there are modifications shown for those of us without the proper equipment that would be great! For instance on the Pyramid workouts which require several different sized dumbbells and I probably will never have the room or the cash to afford buying that many...

Step not my cup of tea

I'll try that, Jen. It just might help. Perhaps after learning the moves without the step I can advance to using it.

Step not my cup of tea

    >Yes, except I like stepping, just don't like following >someone else's steps. I sometimes do my own free-form >stepping to music of my choice. The step is great because it >raises the heart rate more than just dancing can do. I sometimes add the step so that I can really get aerobic...

Step not my cup of tea

After viewing several tapes (including Cathe's) I'm finding that I don't particularly like stepping. I find that I'd rather just do free dancing to some really energizing songs. Though I like dancing, remembering choregraphy has never been my strong suit. Does anyone else feel this way?

    Rotator Cuff exercises

Cathe, do you have any rotator cuff strengthening exercises in any your workouts? Thanks.

Muscle Endurance is on right now!!!

I have that channel! This is great! She's on at 10pm, (ET)7pm(PT) on the schedule. Can't wait to see her on it. FitTV looks like a great way to experience other instructors as well as Cathe for variety's sake. Thanks for the post!

    Joint rubbing noises= Old Age?

RE: 40 and Over workout Hey, Shari. Maybe Cathe will do a workout for those of us pushing 40 or over. She's the only video instructor out there that I love to work out with. I haven't found anyone else that will do. (I'm a little strange in that I like my instructor to have the kind of body I...

can I manage with what I have

I think that you can manage with that for now. I myself manage with only a set of 3.3 lb dumbbells. (until I can get the combination cap barbell/dumbbell set that I really want, about $35-$50) I sometimes go without weights on the lunge portions of Cathe's videos, at least until my quads are...

    Joint rubbing noises= Old Age?

On the Muscle Endurance workout sometimes I train the upper body and do the exercises for only that area. When I do the lifts for the standing rotation presses, front and side raises and side lateral raises (seated) I think I can hear or feel the joints in my shoulders rubbing against each...
