Belinda- Nice job on your run~
Good idea for a nice stretch after as well. Awesome run today
I hope Browler is feeling better and responding well to his meds.
Debbie- I'm so glad that your not having anymore pain and can happily workout now painfree.
Awesome job with Meso 3, Disc 29, Plyo Legs. I really liked plyo legs from STS but couldn't go as high with the risers. So, I went with two risers on each side trying to protect my knees. I know Plyo Legs will make me sweat buckets too, its a killer.
Roxie- I've just recently done Cardio & Weights DvD and its really fun to do, so I know you had a great workout doing that and its great to have the premixes allowing you to do just step. Yes, I know how it goes with the NFL Draft on ESPN, My oldest son, he's 15 and he is a huge football fan and studies all the stuff about football and he loves track and basket ball as well. He only does track and cross country at his high school. I hope your DH was happy with his teams draft selections.
Heather- Great workout with weights today~ Yes, I agree high reps with lighter weights always sneaks up on me. I always think this is too light and try a few reps on the second set with heavier weights then quickly go back to the lighter ones. Yep, those high reps are deceiving then they get ya good almost like band work. If you did get a run in at lunch as well, then that's just icing on the workout fitness for the day. Bravo!!!
Chris- Interesting workout you have on tap for today. I haven't yet tried CTX upperbody, I have CTX but I'm still getting around to trying all of them. I'm liking them of the ones I've done. Congrats just having mild DOMS instead of oh no I can't move my legs DOMS. You've got alot on your plate so hang in there kiddo and happy communion for your kiddo.
Jessica- I don't have a fancy expensive heart rate monitor that give the calorie break down or all of that. Mine is a Mio Sport and all it does is tell time and do the heart rate, its a wrist watch style no chest harness. I know there are nicer more expensive ones out there to get but sadly I can't afford them. It does take some getting used to wearing a monitor and fiddling with it, and mine's a simple one LOL! You'd have to ask the other ladies about the nice HR monitors like yours. I get my calorie burn from what my treadmill says if I run, or if its a dvd I go with what the workout manager says, or I find a comparable workout of Cathe's in the workout manager and use that as the guide for met to arrive at calories burned and select other under dvds and just type in the relevant info of the one I'm doing.
Wendy- We miss ya don't work too hard and don't be a stranger.
Ok, ladies that's it for me today. Have a great night and rest up for tomorrow, friday's almost there.
Hugs!
Nora
