Barbell use

Hi Everyone
I'm finally in my second trimester and trying to go back to a normal workout routine - I was working out but nothing steady - just too tired the first trimester. Anyway, does everyone still use a barbell. It seems to be very difficult/uncomfortable so I'd rather use hand weights. Anyone else doing the same? Is a barbell still safe?

Congrats Liz!

A barbell is technically safe but if its uncomfortable don't bother.:)

I used it for some things like deadlifts and bicep curls but there were some things like dead rows that quite honestly are impossible with a barbell when you have a basketball hangin' off your front!:D

Just do what is comfortable and Enjoy your pregnancy!
Its only been 3 mnths since I've had my little one and I already miss being pregnant! (Better sleep in a separate bed from my hubby tonight!:D)
