Care of DVD's

Now that I have 4 DVDs and one on the way (shh, don't tell my hubby), I'm wondering if I can just leave them in my 5 disk player. I've heard people say you shouldn't leave CD's in their player. Is it the same with DVD's?

Good question, Andrea!

I have never heard NOT to store them in the player which is what I do all the time. As a matter of fact, I just replaced my old DVD's today with my new ones that just arrived Wednesday. Would be curious to know if there is any harm to keeping them in the player????

I would say that they should be fine. Before our multiple disc player broke (we now have just a single disc player) that's what we did. I'd say the only danger is if you were to leave the player on. It tends to get pretty hot and could damage the discs.
