You pulled me back in - my thanks!

Cathlete
Just a quick note of overwhelming gratitude for bringing me back from a very difficult time. I've been going through a lot lately and I haven't exercised, as sad as it is, for over two months. After falling back into negative patterns of binge eating and couch potato-ness, I gained 9 pounds of fat. All of my clothes are too snug to wear and I've been just plain miserable.

This morning, I shook the cobwebs out of my head, took the proverbial bull-by-the-horns and put Power Hour to the test. I honestly thought there would be no way I could muster the energy to do the whole workout, but Cathe, you took me step-by-step through every minute with absolute joy. After I was finished, my body felt alive again and I felt so empowered and in control! I'm back!

On my way to work, Gloria Esteban's "Coming Out of the Dark" was on the radio. I sang it at the top of my lungs, with tears streaming down my face.

Cathe, you really do change lives and touch our hearts and I just wanted you to know how much you are appreciated. Keep on rocking and thanks for everything you do for all of us!

Wow, what a great post! (I totally agree!) Welcome back and enjoy your time with Cathe!

Ditto.

Take it one day at a time and keep up the good work. It's aways hard getting that initial "jump back into working out" workout accomplished but once you do it's like riding a bike. Just wait and see, those 9 pounds will be gone before you know it and the endorphins will help to keep your spirits up. :+

All the best to you.
