proper form on squats?

Cathe, while doing the videos, especially Leaner Legs, I seem to be questioning my form on the squats. I know the technical description of what I am suppose to be doing but it just doesn't feel right.

It seems to work much better if I keep my legs and feet together, as if doing a sissy squat on the squat rack at the gym.

Does it matter? Will I get the same results?

Hi Lisa! Traditional Sissy Squats are very different in technique than traditional squats and perhaps thats why it doesn't feel right to you when you do a traditional squat. You probably just need to get used to it. Since you say that you are doing a sissy squat on a squat rack, I'm not sure if you are doing the classic sissy squat as I know it to be (which I am personally not fond of for the general population).

In any case, the results from these two types of squats will be different since the motion is so different.
