Plie squats

I have a question about plie squats. Compare to you and girsl on the video I have almost no turnout in my feet. My feet are turnaout only about 35 degrees. And there is nothing I can do to make it more. I guess I have very low flexibility in that region. My question is: Are plie squats at this leg position still effective. And if not how can I improve it. Thank you in advance.

Hi Elena! Whenever you do an exercise it is very important that you work within your range of motion to keep the exercise safe. So if a 35 degree turnout is what your body is comfortable with, then it is best to work within that. You may even find that your range of motion will increase after doing these exercises on a regular basis over a period of time.

As for exercise effectiveness.....Working your muscles in just a slightly different manner or from a slightly different angle will be enough to produce effective results. Keep up the good work :)!
