Hi Jocelyn! Everybody is capable of getting a more defined and cut mid section. To what degree you can expose your six pack is mostly influenced by your genetics. Next in line is exercise and clean eating.
Also, if you have had children, you may find it takes longer. For instance, it took me about 6 or 7 months to get my abdominal strength and shape back after the first pregnancy. And now the second is taking even longer(this month is a year post baby and still some thickness).
So whatever your reasons may be, keep at it, keep focused, and don't do anything extreme or drastic. Always maintain a heathy and balanced approach while striving towards your goals. Good Luck!
