Hi Cathe,
I did M1D8 today. I don't struggle with the side lying tricep pushups, so I think I may be doing them wrong (I can't for the life of me do regular tricep pushups, so it's not that I'm too strong or anything ). I'm hoping you could do a brief segment on some form pointers for these. The prone rear flyes were quite difficult, on the other hand, and I'd love some pointers on these as well. Thanks! I am loving STS--what a great production. Wendy |

Hey Wendy,
When I did P90X, Tony does the side lying pushups and I was concerned because I found them relatively easy (and I have a hard time with tricep pushups) but the guys seemed to struggle with them. I asked about it on this site and a few people responded that the guys have more upper body weight to push up than most women and that is why it is harder for them. I am very small in my upper body, so this made sense to me. BUT, I am so glad that Cathe is going to do a clip on this exercise, because I also often wonder if my hand position is some how allowing me to cheat. |
