Default WooHoo...I got it!

After dropping hints for weeks, I got STS for Mother's Day today! I'm so excited

I'm currently doing S90 and should finish that in about 3 weeks so I'll be reading up on STS, figuring out my 1RM and following you all on the forum to get geared up to start in about a month. I'm sure I'll be on here asking all kinds of questions when I get started

Congrats!!!! You'll love the series. I'm starting the 3rd Meso cycle today. I have been following the 3.5 STS and Shock Cardio rotation.
Taking the time to figure out 1rpm will be worth it. I pull up the workout card on the workout manager and it has my weight selection all figured out. Love it! Oh and if you don't already have the weighted gloves, I strongly suggest getting them. I used them for almost every workout in Meso cycle 2!

I'm counting down the days to start! I know I'll love it.

I am going to the beach for two weeks the end of June so I'd only be on week 3 if I start when I had originally planned, so instead of starting and and having 2 weeks away in the very beginning I'm going to do Gym Style and a few other workouts. I think I'm going to do the 6.5 mo rotation. So, July 11 is the new target date

I've got to figure out cardio too. What'd y'all do?

Hi Tracy- I am on my 3rd week of STS, just completed disk 8. I really am loving it. On my off days, I generally do any cardio, generally of Cathe's:
I do STS on MWF so on Tuesday this week I did Ilaria Montagnani's Body Strikes 2 and then today, which is Thursday, I did Intensity. On past weeks, on my off STS days for cardio I have done Athletic Step, Imax 2...you get the picture.

I also sometimes like to add in another day of legs, so I have put in Butts and Guts...when it is at least 2 days before STS legs. I workout 6 days a week generally, so on my 6th day, the day after legs, I have done Body Max 2 in its entirety which gives me an extra kick on arms since I have been off them for 3 days by that time.

Good luck... I know you will love it!!! I am already thinking about doing a 6-month rotation after I finish this 3 month rotation,,,but we'll see!!!

Congrats on getting STS!! It's such a great program! I'm getting ready to start Meso 1, Week 4 and i'm loving it so far. Especially the leg workouts. I usually HATE leg days, but the STS leg workouts are fun, go by fast, and give me serious DOMS!

For me, I need more than 3 days of cardio to keep my weight under control, so i've set up my STS/Cardio schedule as follows.

Sunday - STS Upper + Cardio (30 min) + Abs (Sundays are my "long" days)
Monday - Cardio (1 hour)
Tuesday - STS Upper + abs
Wednesday - Cardio (1 hour)
Thursday - STS Legs + abs
Friday - rest
Saturday - Cardio (longer and more intense) + abs

On my Saturday cardio day, I try to pick a workout that hit my legs as well (examples - BM2, Imax 3, Intensity, Low Max). I know Imax 3 and Intensity don't have weighted leg segments, but the blasts tend to work my legs very hard. For the 30 min. cardio days, I like to use premixes (LIC step only, C&W cardio only) and 4DS cardio segments. As for the other days, I mix it up! KPC, Imax 2, CCC, Step Blast, Kick Max (blasts + punching combos), ALL the shock cardio workouts. I try to blend slightly less intense workouts (MMA workouts, LIC premix, etc.) with higher intense workouts (CCC, Imax 3, etc.). Also, now that it is warming up outside, i'm going to try to incorporate hikes, walks outside, etc.
