I have about 30 pounds to lose and am wondering if STS is right for me
during my losing stage. I have thought about just doing total body workouts like power hour until the weight is off, then starting STS. Opinions?? I am also in the middle of a weight loss contest, so I want to do whatever program that will get the weight off faster. Thanks! Jennifer

Hmmm- I'm sure that either approach would work, but you might lose pounds more quickly with total body workouts to start. After both my kids were born, I lost the extra weight quickly by doing circuit training, kickboxing and step workouts, plus daily walks outside. Once I reached my goal weight, I cut way back on cardio and concentrated on heavier weights. I remember following a couple of Cathe's rotations that were cardio intensive to lose the weight:
