Wow fall is here and this is the last week of September. Today I did KPC: Intermediate + combos 1 and 2 premix + GS: C&T + traditional abs. It was a great workout as usual. My diet was great over the weekend and I'm very happy about that because I did awful with my diet at the beginning of last week. I also did my usual Sunday weigh-in and I got the same numbers I've been getting for the past couple of months. It's so odd because I can't fit on most of my clothes anymore and I can't wear my rings either. My abs are starting to show a six pack (I never knew I could get one of those), I'm also seeing definition in other parts of my body, and yet I can't drop a pound. It's also TTOM so maybe that's why my scale is stuck. Sometimes it's frustrating because I'm so close to my goal weight, but I won't let it get me down.

I'm guessing you both have been busy and I know Catherine is down in New Orleans with her hubby. Hopefully you both found out time for yourselves.

Today I did LIC: cardio only premix. I've been doing well with my diet these past few days also. Tomorrow I'm doing Muscle Max.
 
Wow Rose....a six pack in the making....way to go!

I have been so busy til I haven't posted lately. I think I got in 4 days of exercise last week. This week is at 0 so far.
 
Today I did Muscle Max even though I didn't sleep well last night. I've been stressing out about silly things and instead of thinking about them during the day I think about all those things just before going to bed. I have to stop doing that. Tomorrow I'm doing yoga and I'm doing a circuit (I'm thinking C&W) on Thursday. I can't exercise from Friday to Sunday because I'm going to be very busy(work, then I'm going to a concert on Saturday, and going out with my mom on Sunday) and I know I won't have time to exercise so I'm doing it at the beginning of the week to make sure.

Affirm - You'll find time to exercise. Don't worry. Just try to be careful with your diet.

Hey ladies!! We got back at 1:00 am this morning. We were supposed to get back at 5:00pm. So what does that tell you about the trip home x(

We had a great time. We weren't sure about the weather on arrival there was a threat of a tropical storm and everyone was wigging out. Turned out no storm, but a little rain. We did the boat ride, lots of walking, ate, ate, and ate. We went to Preservation Hall one night to listen to some jazz. Also took a New Orlean style cooking class. Was like when the teacher said she used LARD in the gumbo. Of course she said if you're health conscious "Get Over It!!" So I did and I ate so much that I wouldn't normally eat. Now it's back to the grind so to speak

We had a nightmare trying to get back yesterday. Flight delays and cancellations. We literally could have drove home and had time to spare. We spent 16 hours in travel yesterday. I am very glad to be home!!

Rose, you go girl with the six pack!!

lol Catherine! What's a little LARD really? :7 I bet the food was delicious. It usually is when they don't use "light" ingredients. Too bad about the delays and cancellations, those can ruin the mood, but I'm glad you're back.

Today I did 45 mins of yoga (still doing B. Baptiste's Yoga for Beginners :p ) and tomorrow I'm doing C&W.

Fitfairy, sounds like you had a great time. Cheats don't even count when you are away from home and having some fun. Rose has been working out really hard while you were away. Did you see where she wrote about her 6 pack forming?

Today is Cardio and Weights.
 
Hey ladies. Today I did C&W first thing in the morning. I won't be able to workout for 3 days (from Friday-Sunday) so I did my workouts earlier in the week. Yes I've been working out hard lately even though I'm doing mostly low impact (with the exception of C&W today). My six pack is forming indeed. It's the craziest thing! It only took almost 21 months. :7 It has been a long time waiting to see a little square down there and now that I have a little something something my strength and cardio capacity make me happier than my stomach. I did the whole push up/down dog/side plank set from C&W on my toes today! Now that is something to celebrate. I don't know if I'll be able to post until Sunday night. I will try.

Affirm - Enjoy C&W today. I definitely got an awesome workout this morning.

Catherine - I hope you got some rest.

Rose, you should be so proud of your hard work. I hope you are doing something fun this weekend!!

I was an absolute slug yesterday. Laid around and contemplated working out until a headache hit me about 1:00 or so. Then decided to just forget about it. After that I slept off and on till it was time to go to bed. Actually DH came and got me at 9:00 and told me to go to bed LOL!!

Today was better, felt rested. Did heavy legs and chinups. Not terribly happy with chinups :(

Legs:
Squats 85# 4x5 and 1x3 (same wt increased reps on sets 2-4)
DL 100#( :eek: never thought I'd say 100# on anything) 4x6 (increase 10#)
Bulgarian Squats 25# DBs (legs were toast by this time) 3x4 (down from 4x5)
Plie Squats 70# 3x6 (increase 10# less reps though)
Calf Raises 100# 2x20 (increase 10#)

Chins: 6,3,4,4 & 4 for a total of 21. Half of what I normally do. Here come the excuses,...... First, I don't usually do chins on heavy leg day (Usually do pullups but later in the day). Second eating has been crap and that totally matters when you lift heavy. Third after those 100# DL my upper body was toast (of course as was my lower body ;) ) I think these are legitimate excuses- what do you guys think :D

Fitfairy, I am glad you got some rest yesterday. You don't need to be lifting those heavy weights with a headache.

No fall break for me. It would be nice, but that would only mean a shorter summer.

Rose, C&W is not a workout that I do often, but it is fun.
 
Affirm, sorry no fall break. But you are right it just means a shorter summer.

I forgot to mention I had my Bone Density checked today. My last one was a few years back and I had bone loss to the point of osteopenia (stage before osteoporosis). Today my test was NORMAL!! All my wt lifting must have helped. I did take fosamax for a little while, but stopped it. So I credit my hard work and sweat :D

This morning was the cardio of Body Max2. FUN FUN as usual.
 
Hey ladies!! Affirm I took your lead and did BM2 cardio this afternoon. I usually love this one too. But today I was so ready for it to be over LOL!! My legs were like lead and screaming at me the whole time :eek: Well, I guess I deserve it huh?

Ok, feeling back into the swing of things. Vacations really put a hurt on working out sometimes LOL!! I did heavy upper body this morning.

Bench: warmup 25# DBs 1x10 30# DBs 1x8
75# BB 1x4 & 5x3 (just can not seem to progress here x( )
Pec Flyes: 25# DBs 3x6
BB Row: warmup 30# DBs 1x10
75# BB 4x6
Bow Flex Row: 160# (80 each side) 4x6
DB OHP: warmup 20# DBs 1x10
25# DBs 1x4 dropped to 22.5# 2x6, 1x5 & 1x4
Skull Crushers: (2) 20#DBs 1x2 (just to see if I could) 18.75# 1x4 & 1x2 dropped to 17.5 1x4, 1x6 & 1x5
Bicep Curls: 21.25# DBs 4x6

Overall not much improvement. Just have to keep working at it. Maybe time to change things up a bit??

We are having the in-laws over tomorrow. So will be busy today getting ready for that.
