Cabs + Abs -------> Feelin' fine FRIDAY!!!!

Today's work out will be more CTX weights, abs and possibly jump snap like I was supposed to do the other day. I would have liked to get it done this morning but with having to be in work at 8 this morning I KNEW that was NOT going to happen! LOL

I'm sipping my coffee and perusing the forums instead of working out. It was another late night last night and I just don't have the energy. If possible, I will try to get out at lunch and run.

Hello Friday Cabbers

Oh CABs sound soooooo good. I went out and bought a bunch of 2-liter diet sprites that were on sale since that's half of my happy CAB.:) Mix in a little raspberry vodka and yummmmmmmy!:9 Next week DH and I have a Timbermens convention to go to and there will be lots of CABs consumed, so now I'll be ready.
I almost slept in this morning but the guilt got the best of me. If it wasn't Friday I'm sure I would have. But, somehow knowing that I can sleep in tomorrow was enough to get me up and going today. So, I went into work for a bit and got some things caught up. I brought the health insurance proposals home so I might go thru that today -- or maybe not.
I just had lunch so I'm going to take it easy for an hour or so and then it's X L&B. My legs are shakin' just thinking about those wall squats.:7

Cathy - You're going to study AFTER the weekend. Does that mean you have some fun plans?? It's going to feel so good to finally have a "no work" weekend. Enjoy!! You certainly deserve it.;-)
I told my family about the 26 mile marathon. They think I'm crazy. *lol* My plantar fascitis hasn't really bothered me for quite sometime now so maybe.... When is the deadline for registration? I'm thinking I might sub out my yoga days for a run. I have to figure out how to gauge my distances though since I will probably run on a local trail. I hate running the roads b/c people don't tie up their dogs and I've had them charge at me twice. Now, anytime I run, even though we are in a rural area, I take pepper spray with me.:-(

Wendy - Well, at least you got work out of the way early.:) Now you can enjoy your Friday.
Did you end up going shopping last night?

Diana - Hopefully you get the weekend off to recharge. You didn't get that snow did you?

No shopping last night after all...lucky for DH!}(

I hit the bed early, read for a while and then passed out. :)

This afternoon's work out plan is a Leaner Legs/Jump Snap circuit and ab work.

Right now I'm headed out in the yard with the munchkin for about 30 mins before it's time for his nap.

Hi Ladies,

Angie-We did get a bit of heavy wet snow but it was mostly contained to the grassy areas and the roads were just wet. It's supposed to be mid 60's today though. So are you doing the Chicago Marathon too???? Maybe we can have our own RT in Chicago. That would be so fun!!!

Wendy-I love leaner legs. I'm sure your legs and calves will be sore from a circuit of jump snap and LL.

I'm starting my p90x like rotation tomorrow. I figure I can do the weight work in the morning-and run to the park where Jerod's game is. It's only about 1 mile away, but I have a route I like to run that will make it about 3 miles. They also have a path at the park I can run on. It's time to break in those new runners I bought.

Fogot to mention that both my hr monitors need to be sent in to polar for new batteries. I have grown so accustomed to using them that I feel weird without them. I'm sending them in this weekend and should have them back within 2 weeks. I'm tempted to purchase a garmin so I track distance too. Unfortunately I just can't justify the expense at this time, but Mother's day is coming up:)

Good Afternoon Girls.

I just finished my work out. What a doozy!

I put 2 minutes of JS between every LL exercise w/a few exceptions where I linked 2 LL exercises together w/no cardio in between. It totalled 22 minutes of cardio. I was sweating like a pig. I matched Cathe's weight for everything but did not lower my weight on the 2nd round of leg press. I actually need to go heavier in most of the exercises next time! (I can't believe I just said that!LOL)I also did LL's abs and stretch. :)

Time for a shower.

Hey Ladies-

Happy to report that I ran 5-6 miles today and it was so awesome. I did have to walk a tiny bit up a hill-against the wind. Other than it being a bit too windy the run was great. I feel so accomplished! I did miss not having my hr monitor though but I managed fine with just my ipod. I usually just look at the calories burned when I'm done anyway.

Wendy-I bet your calves will be sore tomorrow! It sounds like you got in a great w/o. I always go heavier than Cathe for leg work, but she gets me back with her killer bicep work that I often times have to lower the weight for the second set. It's sad for me to admit but it is true. I'm actually thinking about getting a weighted vest for STS.
