I have three days off (today, tomorrow and Wed). I had one interview today (even though it is President's Day, but some people have to work; we should all get these Holidays off x( ) I have two more interviews to go; one tomorrow and one on Wed. Today I did a short Firm tape (vol 4 which is app. 40 mins), but I've been struggling with my diet because I have no time to prepare my meals and I have been eating out a lot. I'll get back on track as soon as possible.

Catherine, omg! I just saw the blog, is Stuart married? I'm a 29 year old single woman and he's perfect! :p I have to go to the post office this week to send my money order for sts and after checking out the blog I have to do it quick because it is first come first serve with these things and if I wait too long I'll be getting my order very late. I hope you're both having a nice week so far. Take care ladies!

Rose, I am crossing my fingers for you and your interviews!! I agree Stuart is quite the hotty!! Maybe if you send your money order they'll send him :+

I am very tired and have a slight dull headache. Didn't want to workout but did LIS cardio premix. Now I am ready for bed!! Muffie was very restless last night. I don't know if she feels bad and I just hate it :(

Affirm, I hope you are doing ok!

Hello Ladies. The basement is being painting and we are adding making a few other changes. Between dust, tools and paint....I am not spending time down there. Eating is going okay though.

Hey, Rose, let me go check out the blog..you are too funny.. Stuart sounds pretty hot from you! Fitfairy and I may be married but we do recognize a fine man we when see one.

I am back for the edit......after clicking on the blog...the response is OMG! WHEW! They need to keep his pic at the top of the blog! I haven't been reading the blog, so I had no idea that all these men have joined the cast. Looks like I may be getting some new videos that is if I have any $ left after this house project.

Affirm, yes married but not dead :7 Those guys are smokin!! It sounds like your basement is getting close to done. How exciting!!

Rose, how is the interview thing going? I have my fingers and toes crossed for ya ;)

Tonight I did a leg workout with chinups. Working on getting my chinup numbers back up. They dropped a bit after Christmas and have had a hard time getting them back up. But they are getting there!!

Have a good night ladies!!

Ladies! How are you? I'm back for a little while. I exercised on Monday (a short firm tape app. 40 mins), I couldn't exercise yesterday or on Tuesday because of the darn interviews, but I did Firm Vol 6 today. I had a 4 hr interview "marathon" on Tuesday. That company really liked me and they called me back for another interview tomorrow. It is a beautiful and well established insurance company (the parent company is in Spain, but they have offices in the US and all over Latin America) and they've been in PR since the early 90s. I was warned that the job will be very demanding and that I might be putting some extra hours (sometimes even weekends or holidays) once or twice a month and on peak seasons. The building is stunning; they even have a gym, child care and all that. So that's company 1. A lot of benefits but I will be working my butt off. I was interviewed by 4 people and they all told me that it was high stress and very demanding and that a lot of people leave in a matter of months. Company 2 is a huge company around the world, but they are opening an office in PR. I went for an interview and they were literally surrounded by boxes and a lot of stuff. They are hiring their staff. This company is very important, but they are starting here and I don't know how will they do. However it is low
stress, I have flexible hours, if I'm going to grad school they help me with costs, etc, but if they hire me I will have to go for training outside of PR in Bermuda for 3 months and that scares the heck out of me because I've never traveled alone. I have an interview with them next Tuesday via video-conference call (the other person will be in Bermuda). I'm torn between the two and I still don't know what to do. It is a decision that might affect me for years to come. I've been talking to a couple of friends and some people I really trust to see what they think. So that's that. What do you both think? I need some feedback. Oh yeah and I got another interview for some other job but I have to make that appointment for the first week of March. Oh boy!

I'm glad you both find Stuart attractive as well.:p I sent my money order for sts today so maybe they'll send Stuart as a free gift ha ha ha! I just saw the pics and when I read the bio I said: "oxygen please he works with children! Thank you Cathe!" lol!

Affirm - I'm so glad the basement is almost done. It's a great feeling when everything is organized and neat.

Catherine - You keep chinning! Just think about sts. I hope Muffie is feeling better.

Rose, I am glad that interviewing is going well. You must appreciate the fact that company one was very honest about the job being stressful, demanding and requires long hours. The idea of people leaving in a matter of months scares me. Will the job always be that way or is it just like that until you get settled in? Job 1 scares me, but then again....I am married with kids and that job description just isn't what I am looking for and fits the dynamics of my family lifestyle. However, the fact that they are an established company is a plus. Just stay focused and do well on all your upcoming interviews. It sounds like you will have some tough decisions to make though.

No workouts this week.

Hey ladies!! Yesterday was a rest day for me. Today I plan upper body probably 4ds upper body premix!!

Affirm, how's the basement coming? And is Max settling with the idea that his space is being invaded?

Muffie seems ok during the day, but is wrestless at night. I sure wish she could tell me if she is hurting or something :(

Rose, wow, what a decision. I am in a place in my life where I want to work less hard and not be stressed. But I have a few years on you!!! Examine your life, what are your needs and wants? Which job fits those the best? You never know, maybe it's that 3rd job that will be the one. Anyway good luck!!

Hey there ladies! 2 workouts for me this week (Monday and Thursday) and let's not talk about my diet. I've been eating out and I made smarter decisions but eating out is usually not clean; that food is loaded with sodium and preservatives. I stayed within my allowed amount of calories but it wasn't high quality food like the one I make at home.

About the jobs, thank you for your feedback. Ugh I don't know what to do. Company 1 is established but stressful, company 2 is less stressful but completely new in here. I met with the CFO of company 1 on Friday and ladies this guy pretty much let me know they want me in their team. He said he will pay any additional training I want, especially the actuarial exams which are are optional but a plus if I take them because for every one I pass, not only my range increases but my salary as well. They are thousands of dollars for training and the tests and 10 tests in total. He said that if I wanted to take them (I don't need them to work for the company), he will pay for everything (tests, training, books, etc.) That can go anywhere from $1,000 to $2,500 per test and he's willing to pay that for me. He also told me that he will make the best salary offer. "Anything that others offer you I will increase it to your liking." He said that the job is mine basically, but he knows that I'm being interviewed in other places and he gave me two weeks to call him with a decision. He also said that he's interviewing two other people for the position but that if I call him he'll drop the interviews and hire me. I was really shocked. I guess they want me in that company. I will have more info about company 2 on Wed because I have another interview on Tuesday and I will call company 3 on Monday to set up an interview with them as well. I'll keep you updated.

Affirm - Don't feel bad about not working out I only worked out 2 days and the workouts were pretty short. Are you going to use the basement for working out? I'm preparing a space in my home office to do that. It won't be too big but bigger than the one I have now.

Catherine - I'm so sorry about Muffie. I know how you're feeling. Maybe it's time to visit the vet for some answers.

Thanks ladies and take care. I hope you had a nice weekend.
