Put Some Fun Back Into Your Workouts

One of our goals with our new 2013 videos is it to put some fun back into working out. Shorter high intensity interval workouts are one of the hottest trends right now because of the afterburn effect they create, but that doesn’t mean steady state cardio workouts like Party Rockin Step are a thing of the past. Without balance and variety you not only risk a workout injury, but also something far worse – Quitting because you don’t enjoy your workouts! Which do you prefer: High intensity interval training or steady state workouts?

  • I LOVE having both options! I wouldn’t have the motivation to do high intensity every single day. I do Cathe workouts 5 to 6 days a week, so it is necessary to have both options! I do love to get a killer high intensity workout in there once or twice during the week, with some nice fun ones to fill in the other days.
I am actually most excited about this Rockin Step video, because I love fun choreography. It will be like 50 minutes of dancing. I can’t wait!
Thanks for making exercise so fun, beneficial, & consistant.

  • I’m with you Courtney–love having both! I must admit I am totally in love with Hiit and we all know you shouldn’t be doing it every day. I alternate days of different types of workouts. Step workouts like this one is for my ‘easy’ days. I must admit I am not a natural dancer (ok, I totally suck)and picking up the steps takes a bit of extra concentration for me but once I get it I can go!

  • I am SOOOO looking forward to the familiar dance moves, with the option of going high intensity on the days that I want that. I have been discouraged that for awhile my options were dwindling down to the military-style high intensity boot camp type workouts that I am not interested in because I don’t enjoy them. I love step workouts that I can alternate!

  • I’m going to be honest- This is the only video that I’m probably not looking forward to. I’m not a fan of steady state cardio, however, I do wish I was better at step aerobics because they seem like so much fun. For some reason I just can’t keep up with the steps. It’d probably be easier if I was behind Cathe or something since it’s hard to follow her front view.

  • some step routines to fast and to much dancing!. but keep at it. Any one have july’s rotation?
