The Breakfast Blast Smoothie

The Breakfast Blast Smoothie

Ingredients

1/3 cup oatmeal
1T wheat germ
1t flaxseed
1/2t cinnamon
1T natural peanut butter (or any nut butter)
2T protein powder (chocolate or vanilla)
1 frozen banana
A handful or two of spinach (I SWEAR you won’t taste this! Of course, you can leave it out if you don’t want it).
2/3 cup almond milk (or any milk you choose – I use chocolate almond milk sometimes).
5 or 6 ice cubes for thickness

Directions:

Put all in your blender, blend & enjoy! 🙂
You can put in or take out whatever you please, this is just what I like best. I drink one after every Cathe workout for breakfast 😉
It’s a great recovery drink.

  • Becky, this is awesome ! I modified it a bit, since I cannot use protein powders, but wow ! I love it ! I used 1 tbsp. ground flaxseed, no cinnamon, 1 tbsp. cocoa powder, 1 tsp. agave nectar, and soy milk. Thanks for sharing this recipe !!
