I had a great workout this morning (actually two!) First, I did Amy's KB Dynamics again (Workout #2) which included:
Halos - 5x each side (20#)
Hand to Hand Swings - 5x - 20#
3 sets
Cardio - Slam dunks - run like you're running up to shoot a basket; jump shot; run back - 1 minute
Bottoms up swing with full 180 turn - Overhead swing and turn 180 - 25#
Cleans - 25# - 5x each side
3 sets
Cardio - Speed bag 4x to right and 2 jacks; repeat to other side (1 min.)
Cossack stretch with 2 bells (20#) right, left, right, left
pushups on bells - 5 reps
go into levitation hold on bells (couldn't do but attempted - real tough!)
Dips on bells - 5 reps
Repeat 3X
Cardio - Wide mountain climbers (like Chat Run in Core Syn) (30 secs.); 30 seconds of high knees.
Fun workout! I really like that she does a warmup and cooldown/stretch. There are also 3 premixes combining all 3 workouts which I haven't tried yet.
Next was the blast premix from IMAX 3. Did all of it.
Blast 1 - Step tap repeaters/jump on/off step - Got through 2 sets and modified last 2 sets
Blasts 2 and 3 - did all (plyos/jacks and starburst combo)
Blast 4 - long jump/tuck/ricochet - Ran out of steam towards the very end - my HR was in the high 90s.
Blast 5 - plie jacks - did all
Blast 6 - lunges off step - all
Blast 7 - Had to take a quick break but finished all - jumps on/off step and jacks off step
Blast 8 - plyo, air, tuck jumps - did all
Blast 9 - Abductor repeaters - did all
Blast 10 - jump/on/off step, squat/air jumps - did all.
Was real proud of myself today!
