Xers on to Monday.

Tracie: Nice work:) :)

It's almost time for me too exit the building:7 You guys have a wonderful and a safe evening and I shall talk to you Wednesday. Wish me luck on tomorrow.:)

Hi all! Back for a quickie chat. Just got back from having a little pedicure...I go to this place where there are lots of Asian guys working...and man o man do they give good feet rubs!!!!! Extra tips for the cute Asian boys! And I guess it probably wasn't the best idea to do Imax3 on top of my DOMS from PLB...but I survived. My tuck jumps weren't especially high though...Well, now that I think about it none of my jumps were very high...but I got through it. Now on to Eoin tomorrow...WooHoo!!!!!

Traci...
Yes, my love...I am proud of you for sticking with one day of your rotation. ^^^^^^^ 5!! LOL! I felt the same way today...I was thinking...I can't not do the first day of my rotation...That is just too wimpy! Come on up, dear, I will fix that shoulder/arm right up for you. Still waiting for ttom of month to start so that I can do some measurements. Do you see me tapping on my watch?? It sounds like you and Wendell are awfully busy lately!! It will be nice to have you here for a few days so that you can relax a bit. DD was asking again last night who all was coming to the retreat and what color their hair was...I told her we would just have to wait and see about you when you got here...lol.

Kim....
You poor dears...It seems the end just isn't in sight for all the ailments. Give DD lots of love and then spray yourself down with disinfectant! Hope you were able to get to your workout.

Laurie...
Sorry it is snowing there AGAIN. Will the madness never end???? Only a month until you come down here. It was in the high 60's here today...although it is supposed to cool off tomorrow. Glad you had a good time with the high schoolers last night. It's funny what kids say...They always crack me up. I am betting you DD will be pretty darn tired after her first day back to CC. Hope she is able to walk tomorrow...LOL.

Wendy...
Dear heart, it isn't just that you are getting old...It is just like Eoin says...Your body in 10 years will thank you for what you are doing for it right now. I truly believe that is true. It is never too late to start on a fitness routine...it can only help you when you do get older. I will say that the one of the fundamentalist's daughter's said I only looked 31...I just wanted to give her a big ole kiss!! Of course, 31 to her seems pretty darn old...LOL!

Okay...that's it for me now. CBL is coming over for just a few minutes tonight so that I can get his bills set online. Aren't I a good person?? Wish he was staying a little longer so that we could snuggle on the sofa....but he has laundry to do...and his apartment to clean. We are going to a comedy club on Friday night with his newly 21 year old daughter and some of her friends, so that should be fun. And I don't think I've mentioned it...probably because I want to forget...but XDH is headed to town on March 13th for the Diva's birthday. I am NOT looking forward to that! C'est la vie! What are you gonna do??

Hi all,

No workout for me today. I didn't get home until 7 and I just don't have the time or energy to go workout. I'll just double up tomorrow. Work was busy busy, another day when I looked up and it was 1 already. Then I went and presented to a class, so that's it for me.

Traci - The arm is no better? Maybe you should go back to a physical therapist. I know, you can create the perfect rotation and we can all be cyber cheerleaders. Could you still be doing too much daily with the arm and not giving it a rest?

Debra - Oh no, XDH is coming? Be strong and cut those pills in half!

Wendy - I'm with Traci on the starvation mode. I think you need to eat and workout and stay off the scale, unless of course you just want to be a skinny mini.

Laurie - When does your winter end? Do you love snow We hit 70 today. I'm going to try to start running again. Tomorrow might be the day.

OK, I'll close this window, so I can check on what everyone else was saying.

Tracy

Sandra - I hate it when the dread factor takes over. I'm sure you just pushed play, did your best, and forgot the rest. How's the thesis revisions coming?

Wendy - At one point in my life, I lost a lot of weight on a rice diet. It's not very healthy and I was skinny fat.

Kim - Sorry about the sickness.

Carol - Sorry about the sickness. It was a couple of weeks before I felt back to normal. Sorry you didn't get better results. Was it what you were looking for?

Jeanette - I hope you are feeling better. I slept terrible last night and will be taking a Benedyl tonight to make sure I sleep. I can't afford another night tossing in the bed.

Sorry if I missed anyone.

Tracy

Hi all,

One more thing,

Debra - I think the pt assistant is great, but according to the PT that works at my school, she thinks the full PT is really considerably better. Of course she is a full PT. Anyway, you'll be able to get a part time job regardless of which you get. I think I'd go for the full PT if I had the choice. It's such a knowledgable position and seems to have a lot of ways it can be used; old, young, access, rehab, etc.

Tracy

Tracy...
So funny you mentioned the PT thing...I just got done looking at the local college that has the program...and I just think it would take me way to long to complete....Mostly because I would have to have all the prerequisites completed within the past 10 years...and since I graduated from college 18 years ago...nothing I took then would count and I would pretty much have to start all over since it is a Master's program...which would add at least 3 years to the 2 year program...whereas with the PTA program I'll be done all together in 3 years. I just can't not work for the next 5 years...and being in school full time the whole time with DD at home...It just isn't feasible. I am disappointed....I would rather be a full PT, but maybe I will be able to add to my PTA degree when DD is a little older and not so dependent on my being home all the time. We'll see....but thanks for the advice....and I agree...but it just seems like it would be a bit out of range right now. Sorry you didn't get your workout in today....I am sure after you get a good night's sleep tonight you will be raring to go tomorrow!

Okay...outta here again....Hope everyone has a great night...with lots of restful sleep!!!

Hi everyone,
Sounds like everyone is doing well today. Made it through today at work, little bit of coughing. We can take 2 days of sick time without having to go to a dr. and getting a time off slip so I'm waiting to take off for when the cold is full blown, if you know what I mean.

Latrese, our computers at work block any sites with certain keywords. I can't bring up Cathe on ours or anything to do with an exercise forum. Does it even let you get into the Cardio Coach website?

Wendy, interesting way of eating in Thailand. So your portions were smaller? Or did they have stuff like "Bizarre Foods"? Was your friend's family thin? So if people don't eat much and are thin, what happened to the "starvation theory", where your fat is preserved because you've cut down the # of calories? I know I told DS's GF the other day when my trip to NC would be so I know they'll not plan it for then. I'm thinking much later in the year, but who knows? LOL about ruining your plans of joining our family! You could have been Wendy-Bob. LOL re: Netta Van Phlema!!! My nickname always makes me laugh and I like it when my friends and family call me Netta or Van Petta or whatever! I need to call my BIL back and find out about the dog. Forgot today, I was so busy at work.

Laurie, glad you had a good time last night. 11 pm getting home? Were you drooping today? DS & his GF haven't set a date yet, but it will probably be this year. She mentioned getting married in the Bahamas and coming back for a reception. She was married before and has a really nice son who is around 11 I think. I'm terrible with remembering ages. Not sure what they'll need in the way of help for the wedding/reception. They both make pretty good money so think they will take care of most things themselves.

Traci, what is Wendell's PM stuff? DH wants me to take some cold medicine tonite to feel better, but that stuff keeps me awake. He claims this stuff doesn't. Guess I'd better go see what it is he is pushing. We know the future IL's well and knew them long before DS got with their DD. Last 4th of July week, we spent 3 days up at their remote cabin and had a blast, gold mining, riding 4-wheelers, target shooting, relaxing, fishing. Their property is gorgeous. They log Christmas trees off of it, but they cut them so that they grow back on the same stump. Think we are all planning on going up their again this summer. I find S&H Legs lots easier than GS Legs or Leaner Legs. I know the reps are 8 so can get by okay. ^^5's for finishing Day 1! You really rock! LOL!

Debra, you need to cut up those pills, girl! How can you find out what the cause of the fatigue is if you don't listen to the dr? Crazy girl! Funny about your diva and her DOMS. She's probably seen you limp around enough. Maybe she'll have more empathy for you next time you have those DOMS. The pedicure sounds just lovely. So your DD is asking what color hair we all have. Well, mine is dark brown. Having new highlights put in on my next appointment in a couple of weeks. So XDH will be here soon? Know you are getting stronger so it will bother you less. You are sooooo done with him.

Tracy, a rough day for you too? I was going to pick up those limbs when I got home, just curled up in front of the woodstove and cuddled with the pups. They were so happy to see me. They always are on Mondays when DH and I go back to work. I did do the dishes and a load of laundry. Maybe tomorrow will be better. Hope you get right to sleep tonite. I only had one cup of coffee and it was early so I should drop right off. Will get out that fantasy book again if I have trouble sleeping. Actually, it's finally picking up a bit. The gal that recommended it to me said she couldn't put it down. Hmmmm, wonder when that will hit me?

Kim, glad your DD is feeling a bit better. Nice that you and your DH can tag team with the care.

Better sign off now,

Netta Van
