Hello everyone! The forum has been so blessed to hear of new pregnancies & delieveries of numerous babies! Isn't it wonderful?

I am all alone! My family went out of town on Wednesday & I've had the house all to myself. It's so peaceful! I've spent so many hours cleaning & organizing the house. One night I ordered a pizza & watched a couple of movies. I can't tell you how much I'm enjoying myself. They're due back Tues/Wed. I have to tell you... I've burned mega calories cleaning the house & keeping the yard in order!

Here's my workout schedule for this past week:
Sun: CTX upper Body
Mon: off
Tues: Action Packed Parts 1-2 (Mindy Mylera)
Wed: Imax2 Parts 1-5 & Body Max abs
Thurs: off
Fri: Imax Xtreme Parts 1-2 & Power hour abs
Sat: Imax Xtreme Parts 3-4 & PS Abs

Have a great week!

Melanie
Due 1/25/04

Hey there,
With four little ones, the only way someone like me will ever have a clean house is if they all went on vacation and I stayed home:). But, oh well, it's just a season of my life. Anyway, glad you had a nice peaceful time.

Thurs 24--PS CST, 25 min stationary bike
Fri--PSLA (no floor work or abs), 25 min stationary bike
Sat--Step Fit
Sun--PS BBA (no abs), 35 min stationary bike
Today--just finished Body Max, sections 1 and 2 and I'm tired:p
Tomorrow--Cardio and Weights--this will be my first time. I'm looking forward to it.
Wed--REST:7

Everything is getting just a little harder right now. I'm having to take a few breaks in a workout to get my heart rate to slow a little and to catch my breath.

6 weeks to go!

Maggie,
due 9/8/03

Maggie: You are doing so wonderful!! I think you'll like Cardio & Weights. It's one of my favorites. I bet things are getting a little harder, you must be full-blown in the belly right now. Things are difficult for me, & I'm not even showing yet! I suspect I will have to shift to less cardio as time goes on & more strength work.

Keep up the good work & just know it'll be worth it when your little bundle comes.

I have my 1st ob appt on Wednesday. On Thurs I plan on telling my employer. I'm sooooo nervous. At 15 weeks, I just can't wait any longer though. Wish me luck!!

Melanie,
You will probably have more energy the further into the 2nd trimester you go. Don't despair.

I will pray for you about telling your employer. I was nervous about telling my in-laws because they think we need to stop having kids. They're adjusting. Do they have a choice? :p I hope that your employer is supportive and understanding and happy for you.

Maggie....you are doing so so so well!!! I did a really intense week last week and then Sunday and Monday.....I have no motivation, no energy....I am zapped all the time. I was hoping this would stop, but I just keep getting more tired...don't know what the deal is. I am taking iron as I thought this might be low. I started IMAX II on Monday and did like two minutes of the warm up, turned off the tape and took a rest day. PATHETIC. Oh well. I keep reminding myself, I'm pregnant. To make matters worse...I feel like eating all the time. I was doing so well keeping track of all that I was eating and then I kind of lost it the last few days. I'm not eating bad stuff....just too much good stuff!!

I have to get back on track. It's so helpful to have others to check in with. Melanie I'll also pray for you as you are telling your employer. So are you showing now? I believe I'm going to have to get out maternity jeans this week!! I'll have to post my workout for last week when I get my workout log down stairs. Can't remember all I did, but it wasn't too much in the last few days.

Ooooh....I pass the half way mark tomorrow....this is always a mental breakthrough....now I'll be in the last half. Glad your all doing well!!

Briee

Briee,
This is baby number 6 for you, right? This is my 5th and I tell you at 35, I am a lot more tired than I was at 26 with baby number 1. I have to take breaks between sections for both cardio and weight work. Oh and I was starving through my first and second trimesters--a primal hunger thing. Ate a meal and felt as though I could eat another one. It was insane. Now my appetite is normal, but I tend to be an emotional eaterx( .

Anyway, don't be so hard on yourself. Congratulations on being at the halfway mark. I found pregnancy (like time in general) goes faster the older I am and the more kiddos I have. You'll be there in no time:).

Maggie

Maggie I am very impressed. I haven't used my intensity series in a while since it is on dvd and I am living with relatives without my dvd player or most of my tapes. Don't know how I'd do. My new house should be ready soon and I will be reunited with my dvds and dvd player.

Sunday-Firm Cardio
Monday-Firm Strength
Tues-Cathe-wedding tape(aerobics)
Wed. -Firm-TT2
Thurs-Gay Gasper-Greatest Step-step portion
Friday-Firm-Max. Body shaping
Sat-rest

Due Date 9/21/03

I just got the Intensity Series and the only one I thought I'd attempt was Cardio and Weights. It just about killed me, even though I modified (4" step and no jumping--I also can't do that pushup sequence during the chest section). I don't dare even try the others yet. They are a postpartum dream and goal waaaay down the line:) .

Hey ladies! Thank to all your prayers! My ob was wonderful. I felt really comfortable right away with her (I had my first ob visit on Wed). That is a load off my shoulder. I kept thinking, "What if we didn't click...then I'd have to search for another dr..." Well, my worries were useless (aren't they usually). I really liked her. I told me boss yesterday & I feel soooo much better now that it's out of the bag. Several ladies were surprised that I didn't tell anyone sooner (b/c I"m almost 15 weeks already). I told them I wanted to check w/the dr fisrt & I had some spotting. They all understood then. Ya!

So pregnancy is beginning to look up. I have 'mini' bouts of nausea & I'm definitely more tired than pre=pregnancy, but much much better than 1st trimester.

Shopaholic, I'd be super obliged to trade my Intensity VHS vids for you Intensity DVD's!!!!!

Briee, you are doing absolutely WONDERFUL!! We're all going to have weeks when we don't feel as well. Don't be so hard on yourself! I bet your beginning to feel better already. Just whip up a batch of your famous seseme seed balls & sit back and relax for a few days. Then you'll be able to un-pause your workout-break & begin again with more vigor than ever. Half way mark is quite the accomplishment. Just remember, there is always someone who's farther behind than you are (the halfway mark seems like eternity to me)!!!

Hi,
I'm about 4 weeks along to my guess..My ob appt. is in about 2 1/2 weeks and I'll find out how far along I am. Before I got pregnant, I worked out faithfully 6 days a week to Cathe. Now I can only work out 4-5 days a week if my stomach is not moving around too much. Did you girls have this problem? Also, how do you guys not put on so much weight especially in the 1st trimester from not being able to work out as much? I have not put on any weight yet. I lost about 7 pounds from being so nauseous but haven't throwed up yet. WHEW. I still do the Terminator but not as much jumping and I certainly don't do the Terminator Thrusters anymore.

Briee....What is your recipe for the sesame seed balls? I eat store bought sesame seed blocks...It's sort of like a brittle. I LOVE coconuts so I'm intrigued.)
