where to put cardio??????

I'm going to do a 4 day upper/lower body split but was wondering where i should put the cardio.i am hoping that some of you out there have done this type of split. i know there has been lots of talk about reducing the cardio and focusing more on weights. but i was think mabe doing short frequent cardio sessions and making sure i get saturday and sunday off. Or whould 2 longer sessions be better? it looks like this
monday:upper/20 min HITT cardio
tuesday: Lower and abs
wednesday: cardio only
thrusday: upper and abs
friday: Lower and 20 min HITT cardio
sat:eek:ff
sun:eek:ff
or.....
monday: upper
tuesday: lower
wednesday: cardio
thursday: upper
friday: lower
saturday: cardio
sunday: off
right now i'm just maintaining but i'm confused with all this cardio frequency talk. i know i post a lot about splits and it probably gets annoying but i'm just trying lots of splits out to see what works best for me. thanks for anyone who has some advice.
