So, I'm guessing many of you are prepping for tomorrow, as am I. My Brandied Orange Cranberries are simmering right now.. I threw in some raspberries this year, walnuts of course, nutmeg & cinnamon--- the house smells divine!!! The eggs are a boilin' for my infamous devilled eggs. Just very immediate family tomorrow.
Also will start readying for my annual "Leg Lamp Party" on the 11th... you know, A Christmas Story--- "you'll shoot your eye out!!". I own a life-sized replica of the Leg Lamp and it gets lit on Thanksgiving night to signal the welcoming of the Holidays in our wonderful little community!! Each year more and more neighbors come to join, eat food (bring some I hope!), drink some wine and say hello to both old & new neighbors! It's always sooo much fun! It's my first year doing it alone (newly divorced), so I am having it catered.
