Very frustrated and confused

I have the ipod 1st generation i'm assuming ( purchased it in 2007) and when I downloaded lift it hiit it wouldn't sync and there is nothing that can be done so I deleted it. That's $20.00 down the drain.I was told that newer videos weren't set up for my ipod touch. I purchased a few sts videos and they downloaded just fine and they are fairly new. Does anyone else have an older ipod and if so, what newer videos were you able to download?

An ipod from 2007 is not capable of playing HD video as it did not exist in 2007. STS was filmed and released in 2008 before HD video became the norm.
