Vertigo

together with a fever is what I'm dealing with. Stress-induced b/c of unemployment, internship problems with a transitional program I'm in plus a few others but hanging on due to not getting enough calories. I dont want to eat junk either.
The fever is b/c the weather is WAY too warm for this time of year. There is so much crud going around.
My savior has been tea. White and green tea. Drinking it at room temp keeps my temp down and curbs the Vertigo.

My energy has been wiped out since Saturday night when the Vertigo started occuring. I don't wish this on anyone. Hoping for seasonal average temps once again.
 
The veritigo does sound a lot like low blood sugar. Have you tried increasing your orange juice intake?

As for the fever, peppermint tea is a fabulous immune system boaster. I usually drink tons of peppermint tea when I am feeling under the weather and haven't gotten sick since I started doing that. Here is some more information on tea:

Another thought is maybe adding some lemonade with honey to your diet. Lemonade is a great source of Vitamin C and also a natural decongestant. It could be that your fevers are in part from a sinus infection. The lemonade paired with a cheap nasal spray (which helps facilitate drainage) might do wonders for you.

Stress can be very hard to deal with....I feel for you. It's one of the main reasons I started working out again. It got to the point where I couldn't even sleep at night. Keep your chin up. Some day you will look back at this time and be happy you made it through it. I hope you feel better soon!

P.S. If you are looking for a job have you tried putting up resumes on Monster.com and CareerBuilder.com? I have heard of people having good luck on the job site that's connected with LinkedIn. Another thing I have learned is to actively ask head hunters if there is anything that can be improved on your resume. I have gotten tons of great feedback from them.
