Versa Gripps

Does anyone have these? What do you think of them? Do you have any problems with them when your hands are sweaty? Can you leave them on throughout a workout or do you take them on and off for certain exercises?

I have them and I love them. I like to work with my hands bare whenever I can, but on occasion during supersets will just leave them on for the next exercise and they are fine. One nice thing is they are worn loosely around your wrist so if you decide you don't want/need them for a certain exercise you can just spin them out of the way. HTH!
 
Hi Kristi. I have Versa Grips -- my wonderful trainer got them for me for Christmas (until then I had been using the one set at the gym that most folks share [gross, I know] but when my trainer realized I was serious, that was my Xmas gift. I use them primarily for back work, wrapped around the bar so as to let my grip be looser and really pull with those back muscles. I will say that with the heavier wts I was getting callouses, so I started wearing my gloves under the grips. It's a little bulky, but a big help. And I do think they help. On my last session with my trainer before my little STS hiatus I rack pulled 240 pounds. And I'm pumped now to (finally) be able to do unassisted wide grip pull ups - not a lot, but that will come. And I think that only happened by strengthening the back - those grips help. Just don't depend on them.
