Tubing - update

Hi I said I would update from my initiial post. I emailed the instructor day before class to "give her heads up" and ask if it was ok that I bring the tubing. I explained what happened the week before and told her I got such a great workout with the tube and enjoy the group experience. She allowed me to do it and asked that I also bring hand weights. I knew I would not use the hand weights, so I wasnt sure why she to also tell me to bring them. She said she would introduce tubing after the january madness. I didnt end up going to the class due to an achy knee that was not 100% yet.

I decided that this class is not for me at this time. I think instructors should be open to modifications and inclusive of all fitness level abilities. This class is attended by all fitness levels (believe me lots of bad form all around the room). I think some would benefit more by using tubing instead of swinging the weights incorrectly.

It's not a safety issue in my case. I know it and I believe she knows it too. Thanks for all the feedback. Below is the link to the original post.
