Morning Ladies -
This morning I did Jillian's Backside Circuit followed by Cardio Coach #1 on the TreadMill (25") and then I did Lotte Berk - Muscle Eats Fat Bonus Blast (10") and stretch from Cathe's High Step Challenge. Workout was 1 hour 45 minutes and I burned 570 calories. I also did Yoga for Health for Depression and GI Disorders.
This Yoga for Health series is okay. I like the practices, but they are both very similar (came in a set ...one for headaches and one for GI/depression). The instructor is Latin American and has a thick accent. Hard to understand her.
I rec'd both my Ambiance Fitness Kit and the Steel Physique DVDs from Amazon. Steel Physique looks interesting. It's a solid weight routine and then a Pilates with weights routine and Yoga with weights routine and an ab routine. Interesting!
Ambiance......I'm not sure about yet. It's not really DVDs you follow like a normal workout DVD. It shows the exercise and then you have to pause the DVD and do your reps. It gives several routines though. I'll have to check it out before I decide if I'm keeping it or not. I guess it has it's advantages.......playing your own music, etc. We'll see. It comes with bands and door attachment and ankle straps to work your legs with which is the other thing I like about it.
Jen - wow - 80 minute walk/run. That's impressive. I bet that burned mega calories! My lower body is stubborn also. Glad to hear that the run/walking is helping though. I think the only thing that helps mine is the combination of run/walking and Lotte/Fluidity/Squeeze.....not even sure about traditional leg work and my legs. I'll have to check out my Dance dvd later. I previewed the Steel Physique last night and didn't have time to look at the other one. I didn't like Kimberly when she first came out, but she has really grown on me and now I like her.
I hope Yve is okay. We haven't heard from her forever. Does anyone remember when her wedding date was? Maybe she got married?? I think about her often. I hope she comes back some day.
Have a great day ladies.
