Trying To Fit Yoga in for Sat June 30

Morning Ladies -

This morning I guess I did a rest day - did Intensati 2 and that's it. I burned 300 calories and workout was 63 minutes. Now I feel guilty for taking a rest day. I feel as if I shouldn't eat when I take a rest day.

We're going to see the new Die Hard movie. I hope it's good, as nothing else has been lately.

Kel - My DH isn't handy around the house, but he does like to be busy most of the time. We always joke that he enjoys being frustrated cuz in his spare time, he likes to play Spider Solitare on the computer and he plays the highest level (which is really hard to win and aggravating). Since he's the manager at work and has a stressful job....we joke that he has to be stressed out to be happy. That's good your DH stays busy. Keeps them out of trouble!

My Mom is doing better. She did have a bad day yesterday. She is able to drive and go places and use her cane to walk...but it is still very painful and she's slow. She is half way to being healed. She got very frustrated yesterday because people were rude to her, she was in everyone's way and nobody was decent to her. She waited forever for help to get Bird Feed at the pet store and ended up leaving cuz nobody ever came to help her and at the grocery store people were rude to her. She wants to be back to normal NOW, but I had a little pep talk with her. She did schedule to have her cataract surgery that she was supposed to have before she got injured. Not sure if I'll be able to take her cuz she scheduled it for the last week of July and I need to have a job by then, be it temporary or whatever!

Jen - are you doing all Cathe circuits? Yes, I just got that Dance yourself Slim with Kimberly Spreen but I haven't checked it out out. I'm not sure if it's something that will just be good for an active rest day or what. Most dance videos seem to be just that for me....active rest.

Hi Ladies! Checking in very late! Tonight's WO was alternating walking and jogging for 80 minutes at the park across from my house. I alternated walking and jogging, switching for each song. I put some new music mixes on my ipod, so I was having a good time. I have finally noticed some positive changes to my lower body by incorporating some walking and jogging over the past couple of weeks. I have seen some people post that running is the only thing that helped to slim down the lower body. Mine is so stubborn, I think that will be my situation, too, x( but at least something is finally working! :)

Lora-I am doing about half Cathe circuits. I am mixing them up between high impact and low impact also, just to make sure I am not overdoing it. I previewed Dance Yourself Slim today. It seems pretty tame, but also kinda fun. Can't wait to hear your take on it. The more I am exposed to her, the more I like her style. I already miss the Cardio Camp workout I sent back to Netflix awhile ago. I think I will have to break down and purchase that one at some point. Hope you enjoyed your movie today! How do you like Intensati? I have viewed the clips a few times over at Collage.
