Morning Ladies -

This morning I did Barry's Bootcamp Fat Blast Upper Body followed by Mission Advanced Legs, Advanced Abs and Advanced Upper Body. Workout was 74" and I burned 509 calories. I used the Booty Band for the workout to see how it felt on the legs. Still might add weights to the leg work next time.

Yve - I responded to you about the Kashi cereal on yesterday's thread.....just in case you didn't read it.

Carrie - I also posted some stuff on yesterday's thread about Celebrity Rehab's reunion show and ROL.

Jen - Wow...that's crazy weather you guys had. We usually head in the basement with the cats if there are tornados spotted but in general, I'm pretty bad about hiding out in bad weather. I tend to be an adrenaline junkie and if they say a tornado's coming....I usually have to go stand outside and look around for a while. Last time it was like that, I was at my Mothers and tree's got blown down, etc and for the longest time, I was standing outside looking for tornados. I kept getting yelled at to come inside. I don't want my pets to get hurt though....so usually ...eventually I go take cover. How exciting about BPAL in the Whole Foods. That would be so cool to have a place like that around here. I think you should definitely do the party next time. That's a pretty interesting workout you did the other day. You're getting creative! I'm thinking about trying to fit in some of my Barre workouts and such......but not sure how to do it. I just got my new Barre workout called Pure Barre which is supposed to be decent. Thanks for taking the time to explain the IVF to me. That's some pretty amazing stuff. I certainly hope it works for you. How long does it generally take to work if it's going to work? Is there an average? How do they expect payment from you? Up front? Just curious cuz it sounds like it could get costly. Speaking of such things.....how's Lenny's chemo and what's his prognosis these days? Is he in remission.

Hi Kel and anyone I missed.

Have a great day everyone.

Hi ladies! No workout for me tonight. Too much personal life stress, so DH & I went to dinner to talk it over. Got bad news at the IVF dr and will not be able to convert to an IVF cycle this time. We are still on for an IUI and it is scheduled for this WEDNESDAY AFTERNOON. Talk about very little time to adjust to all this! I spent today in the Twilight Zone. Will probably be there tomorrow, too.

Lora-LOL for you catching on to my creative workouts! That is one that you inspired! :) Even though I have a variety of DVDs, they still can get old if I keep doing them the same way each time. I like the way you combine your workouts, so I thought I would try something with mine. It actually was a pretty intense workout. Wow, I bet between your Barre workouts and the kettlebells, your legs will be looking fabulous! :) Thanks for asking about Lenny-he is in remission and doing great. He goes for his one month follow-up and x-rays next Tuesday. Yes, the IVF doc expects payment in advance and it is unbelievable what the cost is. My medication alone was $5,000. The IVF would have been about $15,000. The IUI will be about $2,000. None of it is covered by insurance-it is all out of pocket. I have been using money my mom left me-as this is what she told me she wanted me to use it for-to have a child. (Not knowing, of course, that I would have infertility problems, which has made her gift that much more precious. I thank her everyday for the opportunity to go through this, as there are so many couples who would, if they just could afford it.)

Have a great night ladies!
