Morning Ladies -

This morning I did my Jillian Book Circuit. Added weights for the ab work and ankle weights for the leg scissors. I wore my boot and jumped on the rebounder to modify the cardio segments. I also tacked on Kung Fu Kickboxing Kicker workout (without my boot for part of it, but had to put it on as my foot was getting too much pressure and the DH walked thru the room and yelled at me). Workout was 65" and I burned 411 calories. I then did Perfect in 10 Yoga - Awaken & Energize & Destress & Relax (20") followed by Ravi & Ana's Yoga Quick Fixes - Energy Warmup, On the Spot Addiction Alternative and Asthma Be Gone 30".

Wow - Addiction Alternative was a really different session...as was Asthma. I really like these 2 new ones cuz of all of the brief sessions on them! Makes it easy to fit in even on a busy day.

Jen - sorry you're in for a rough work week. I'm not looking forward to that crap! I'm enjoying my last days of freedom! as much as I can being worried about getting a job. The job at the Fire Repair place is a secretarial positon. The place apparently fixes business/residents damaged by fire and smoke. I guess that's a good business, right?

Kel - how was your weekend? How's the arm?

Have great workouts everyone. I've got to take to my Mom to the Cataract doctor a little later and sit there for a few hours. She's having preop stuff done for her cataract surgery. I will take my Afterburn/NROL books to read while I sit and wa

Hi fellow flexible females!:)

Sorry I wasn't around for a few days. Just got busy & couldn't find the time to post like I wanted to. Last Thursday, I got up & did Sara Ivanhoe's 20 Minute Makeover Yoga for Weight Loss. Nice! On Friday, I did Pilates on the Ball with Lizbeth Garcia & really enjoyed it too. I also felt it in my abs over the weekend. My arm is improving s-l-o-w-l-y so I'm still abstaining from any upper body exercises until it feels completely better. On a brighter note, my ankle/leg is better so this morning, I did CC #4 & had a blast with it. I still can't believe how motivated I am by an audio workout for the treadmill & find that I push myself harder each time I do one. My treadmill has never had drops of sweat on it before so I think that's pretty cool. This week, I plan to do 3 days of cardio - all CCs - Monday (#4), Wednesday (#3), & Friday (#2). Tomorrow, I plan to do yoga & right now, I'm thinking Baron Baptiste's Power Yoga The Initial Challenge. It's a 45 minute thorough, total body routine & I haven't done it in awhile. Thursday, I'll either do another yoga workout or maybe a pilates or Lotte Berk... or a combination. Any votes as to which workout I should do? Next week, I plan to get back to a more "normal" routine, including upper & lower body weights... & I'm really looking forward to it but I know I'll need to take it sort of easy for a week or 2 so I don't injure myself... again.

Lora - I skimmed some of the threads when I couldn't post & I'm sorry to hear about the stress fracture in your foot. But it sure doesn't keep you down, does it? Sounds like you're still getting in some great workouts but I hope your foot is healed soon so you can get back to doing everything you want to do. Oh, about the job... that's what my DH does for a living. He's a contractor who only does insurance restoration work that could include fire & smoke, water/flood, storm damage, etc. He is an area manager & his office is very busy & fast-paced. It's also very interesting with lots of different jobs coming in all the time. I think you might like it so let us know what you think. Hope everything goes well with your mom's cataract prep-work. Isn't Vegas coming up soon?

Jen - I'm also sorry to hear that you're in for a rough week at work & I hope it goes by quickly. Hopefully, you can find some time to workout & also post in the evenings. Hang in there. As a fellow cardio-hater, can you believe I'm planning on 3 days of cardio this week? Since I still can't do any upper body & I tend to bulk in my lower body, I just figured it was the best way to get the most out of my workouts this week. I'll let you know how it goes.

Well, I better get to it. I hope you ladies have a great day & I'll check back in later to see if either of you (or anyone else) has had a chance to visit again. Take care!

Hi ladies! Tonight's WO was alternating walking and running for 1 hour. I am trying to build up my speed a little bit. I was down at the park for a little while, then did some sprints up and down my street. One of my neighbors said "go go go" as I was running down the street. That was pretty funny! LOL! I must have been going faster than I thought! :)

Lora-That job sounds really interesting! Good luck with your interview!

Kel-Sounds like you are in much better spirits! I am glad you are doing better!

Gotta run tonight-I have some research to do for work. Hope you have a great evening and I will chat with you more tomorrow.

Jen
