Trying to Fit Yoga In for Mond Feb 12

Morning Ladies -

I did TLT Better Burn Better Buns followed by Hip Hop Abs Fat Burning Cardio Level 1. Workout time was 1 hour 35 minutes and I burned 442 calories. I was dragging a bit this morning. I don't know if I'm in need of a rest day or if I haven't been getting enough sleep (maybe both?). I didn't actually get in bed unitl 11:30 pm,and got up at 3:00 am, however, I was dozing off on the floor (lying on my balls).

Have great workouts or rest days. Must go get ready for my interview.

Hi Ladies -

These darned sinuses of mine. I'm losing my voice and I think I'm getting another infection! Unless it's the snow storm moving in causing my sinuses to act up!

Jen - I previewed Power and Grace today after I already worked out. Wish I would have looked at it before my workout this morning, as I didn't know it was a leg workout.....and I could have done it this morning! Really, the step I do is not that much more complex than Cathe. I have found teachers that use the Layering System that is a lot easier to learn from and the Seasun one that I love, Straight Up Step...is her less complex one.

I've been taking care of E-bay business all weekened and this evening.

I just put up a couple Valentine Limited Edition Packs that I'm excited about. I hope they sell!

Hi everyone! Tonight's WO was Turbo Jam Cardio Party # 1 followed by Trainer's Edge, Killer Butt-standing work only. I used 1/2 lb weighted gloves on the TJ WO & was exhausted by the end! Sweat was pouring off of me during that and the Killer Butt WO...I love that feeling! I will sleep good tonight!! :)

Megadoo-{{hugs}} Glad your back! :) Thanks for peeking in on us! Hope your stuff wasn't too serious. Imax 2-way to jump back in the swing of it!

Yve-WOW! One hour of pilates! That sounds interesting using the foam roller. So, catch us up on your holidays....what did you do over December/New Year's? Have you gotten any new workout DVDs lately?

Janie-What yoga did you do? What's your favorite style? I love Power Yoga and Lora now has me hooked on Kundalini!

Lora-So what were your impressions of Power & Grace? How did the job interview go? That's funny that we sorta' did the same type of WOs, just in reverse order! It definately sounds like you need both some rest and some sleep! Last night, I couldn't sleep so I listened to Mantra Girl's CD, Truth, that I downloaded onto my iPOD. I didn't like her WO that much, but I really like her music. Lots of Kundalini phrases. I did some Kundalini breathing exercises during the songs and finally got relaxed enough to fall asleep. I swear it works wonders!

P.S. I tried on pants this weekend at the urging of one of my co-workers-she kept laughing at my clown pants-my pants were hanging off me last week. I initially told her I wasn't ready to buy new pants yet and wanted to spend any extra money I had on WO DVDs. She finally convinced me that I really needed to buy at least one new pair of pants. I went down a pants size! :)
 
Jen- that's awesome! Great job. I was lucky that my sis gave me a bunch of clothes, lots of jeans that fit. I was tired of wearing pants that were way to big. Thanks for the hugs. They are much needed.

Lora- sorry about your sinuses. That sucks. So you are expecting the snow too? Comes here Wed. 10-12 inches is the prediction so far. I am going to check out your link.

Janie- done yet?

I haven't done a WO yet. I did major grocery shopping with the kids, came home and put it away, then went and did major cleaning in the barn and took care of the horses. I should WO, but my stomach is saying no. Maybe.

Hi ladies,

Todays workout was 45 minutes on the treadmill.

Lora - I;m sorry you aren't feeling well. We are waiting for that storm to come in also... I hope it misses. I get head-achey when the pressure in the air changes - so can sympathize.

Jen - Congtats on the weight loss! That is great! You have been working so hard - and what a feeling to go down to the next size.
The trainers edge dvd sounds very difficult. Do you find that it helps your posture also, given there is so much standing work?
My holidays were nice - but quite busy... the newest and nicest thing - and that which has had me very very busy - is that my SO and I decided that we are going to be married in June. We have been together for a long time - and decided that it is time that we take the next step. So - I am very happy - and excited...and need to tone my arms to look nice in my dress!

My newest purchases were the TLTs (all 4) and Cardio Fusion. I haven't previewed either as of yet.

I finished with Aerobic Yoga. It's my all time favorite. The teachers are Ganga White and Tracy Rich. But today was really hard for me, I don't know why.

I think I need a day of rest, so Wednesday will be that day. My husband and I are going to Sam's club to look at the Marcy Smith Machine. Who knows, we might bring it home with us. I can only hope.
