Trying to Fit Yoga In for Finally Friday

Morning Ladies -

This morning I did Revolution Kettlebell Intermediate Workouts A & B back to back. I added a Cathe stretch on for the cool/down stretch. Workout was 60" and I burned 407 calories. Not a real high calorie burner. I did kicboxing moves during the breaks in the first half of the workout, but as I got fatigued, I dropped in weight of KB's and also started taking part of the breaks. I used my 15-35 lb KBs.

Will need to price a 40 pounder soon. I can only go really heavy with certain moves. The funny thing about KB's is the weight load. As mentioned before, doing chest presses with a KB feels much different than using DB's. The weight is distributed differently. Normally, I press 25 lb DBs, but just a 20 lb KB feels much heavier. Weird.

Jen - Sorry -- i totally missed your post the other night. I didn't check the post later. Sorry things are stressful at work. I know all about making too many mistakes. I am a former perfectionist....but as I've aged, I've started making more mistakes......I try to accept it...but I really beat myself up about it. Sorry the IVF did'nt work. I hope the next one is succesful.

Have a great day everyone.

Good morning & thank goodness it's Finally Friday!

This morning, I did the 10 minutes bonus segment from Lotte Berke's Basic Essentials, followed by PY4H 30 Minute Quickie. Then I got in the hot tub... aaah! So glad it's finally Friday.

Lora - Good workout this morning. I bet you look forward to your KB workouts since you enjoy them so much. I am still very interested in kettlebells & I wish I could get a couple right away. But they are SO expensive. Not to mention the fact that I can't seem to get away from Cathe or BBC long enough to do anything else. But I still have b-day money so maybe I'll go shopping this weekend & see what I find. Hope you have a great Friday & a good weekend too. I might be around this weekend so I'll try to pop in if I am.

Jen - Nice workout last night. Some videos, like Buns of Steel for instance, may be old but they're still very effective. Thanks for the compliment about my hair. Not sure if I'll ever go very short but after looking at my picture, I just thought it might look better if it was even closer to shoulder length. But I'll wait until it's time to get it cut again before I make that decision. You know, I don't think we've discussed how we're going to prepare for STS but I read somewhere that Muscle Max would be a good workout to use for that purpose. So I guess once I find out that it's almost ready to be released, I'll start on a rotation where I do the full MM workout, cardio the next day (yuck - LOL), MM upper & a short cardio workout, MM lower & a short cardio workout, & yoga on Fridays still. What do you think? What are you planning to do? I hope Cathe comes out with an STS preparation rotation or at least some more specific suggestions about how to prepare anyway. Good luck on Sunday. I'll be thinking about you.

DH is talking about us working at our own house this weekend & that means we'll be making progress on my new workout room. Yay! I hope I can find some time to go shopping too. What are your plans for the weekend?

Well, I better get back to work for now. Lots of filing to do that I've put off all week. Take care & have a great Friday!

Glad everyone is doing well..

I will try to catch up on everyone's posts for the week...and post back with some personals... I so want to catch up with you ladies...

Take care,

Yve
