I mean me!!

I got the new series on Friday. I was so excited so I did Butts and Guts straight away. It was tough (I couldn't have done any more standing work even if Cathe had been here herself) but I got through it. Yesterday, I had some DOMS but not too bad, not as I was expecting.

So today I decide to tackle LIC - hey, it says it's intermediate/advanced, it can't be that bad. So I throw myself into it, cardio is fine ... Well, by the time I get to the chest section I'm nearly in tears!!!

Having previewed Drill Max and BM2 - I am truly scared.

It just goes to show that you (I mean me of course) can think you're better than you really are. I'm feeling like a complete wimp now!

Just thought I'd share with some people who may understand ...

Not a wimp at all. You'd be amazed how many of plowed into these new workouts and went hobbling to the shower ;) I think that is what keeps you motivated! Yay delusional thinking! Ha. Seriously though, I think being determined and feeling like you can bounce through it is the way to approach the workouts...and if you have to modify or stop earlier, then you do. You'll build up in no time!

You will be ok. Every time it gets easier... I barely walked for 3 days after B&G the 1st time.LOL. I know what you mean..

I love LIC...Body max 2 is a killer and 90 min.....So, get ready. Lower your step the 1st time.It will make it easier till you get it down.

That's the same rotation I did when I got the new series, B&G, LIC, BM2 and DM.
Take a recovery day before and after BM2.

Thanks for all the advice and support, folks.

I don't feel such a chump now!

And I'm looking forward to tackling BM2 and DM!:)
