To the Max Substitue

Cathlete
Hi,

I own all of Cathe's Low Impact Series, except To the Max. I just bought CrossFire, but unfortunately cannot shell out any more money this time to buy To the Max.

I am planning on doing the CrossFire/To the Max rotation Cathe listed. I am wondering if anyone could help me to find a close substitue for To the Max until I can shell out more $.

Thanks!

TTM substitute

Hi Lovefitness,

I do not own all cathe's workout yet but I have all Hiit and metabolic ones...

IMHO, there is not an exact substitute to TTM. Both TTM and CF are metabolic intense workout using light weight and step to perform intervals...there is no step combo in TTM, while CF contain a short easy to learn step combo. TTM mainly contains plyos. Both TTM and CF are multi-impact, not low impact designed like LIS (Low impact series).

Sorry I have not been able to provide you with what you asked. Let's hear from cathletes on this :):)

xoxo

Thanks!

Hi, nckfitheart2009

Thanks for the reply. I alos have other Cathe's workouts, in addition to Low Impact Series & CrossFire. I read my own original post again and realized the way I wrote it (too much in a hurry :() sounded like all I have is just the LIS series and CrossFire. My bad...

I absolutely love Cathe's weight workouts. On the other hand, I tend to do well with Cathe's cardio workouts that are simple to follow - i.e. CrossFire. Unfortunately, I don't favor Step workouts too much, since I cannot follow the choreography closely.

Just wondering for this particular rotation, what can I use to sub for TTM to get a similiar effect for the time being. Hopefully, someone could chime in. Thanks for your input. Much appreciated!! :)

Hi Ilovefitness, if I am not mistaken TTM is similar to Athletic Traning from the LIS series. I beleive that was her inspritation so you should be good to go for now.

Hope this helps :)

To loveliness, I am writing from my phone and can not recall what I wrote. You will be fine for the step combo. There isn't any choreography. It's very simple. If you are keen on tabata protocol , give it a try !

All the best,

Hi ebonynicole,

Thanks for your reply. :) I may just sub in Athletic Training for that day in the Cross Fire/TTM rotation that Cathe wrote up in July 2012, after completing my last cycle of Slow & Heavy. :D

THANK YOU!

Thanks, nckfitheart! Yes, that's why I love CF. Simple & effective. No complicated dancey moves with the Step. Cannot wait to give it a shot following Cathe's July 2012 CrossFire/TTM rotation. :)
