Tippy Toeing Anyone?

Anyone stand on their tippy toes to prevent your back from arching when working out upperbody? Sometimes I find myself doing this and don't know if it is considered cheating if my back doesn't arch? Just wondering.

What exercise are you doing? I'm thinking it would really throw me off balance. I always take that "one foot back" stance that Cathe uses if I'm doing standing upper body work.
 
Shoulders and biceps. My core is strong so I don't lose my balance easily unless I am fatigued. The one foot back doesn't work as well for me and the tippy toeing keeps my back straight.

Well, I don't think it sounds like cheating. I'm visualizing this, and it sounds like it would definitely keep you straight up - and you sure couldn't "heave" with your core while on your toes. It sure is unique! ;)
 
I am always trying to come up with something that works for me. I am currently trying to find different things I can do with my smith machine without hurting myself. LOL!
