Tights

I have had a problem with the tights I have been buying. I bought a pair from Express, Victoria's Secret and Target. All 3 have ripped around my thigh area. My thighs are very muscular and I am getting very frustrated. Anyone have this problem and more importantly, the solution?

I wear tights under my slacks almost every day--they're a great alternative to long underwear & I do a fair amount of walking.

In any case, I always buy a size up. That way they're loose where I need them to be but still fit closely enough to wear under pants.
