Too funny.
I think i know what machine you are talking about. I used one at the gym on vac.
The front elevates for the stride . It is a nice machine. You are looking at 3 grand.
If i was going to do it again , I would have invested in a really good one. Mine was rusting out and my DH tore it apart and put wood in place of the rusted out parts.So, I am not getting a new one for a while.
I do like it though. Only problem is my toes get numb.

Hey, Michele, good luck with the elliptical!!! I actually had ordered one from an infomercial about 9-10 yrs ago and LOVED it!!! I think that I worked so hard on that, I killed it....literally! The resistance band that connects the foot pedals to the arm jiggers broke one day when I was in the groove. I used to pull it out and watch an action flick (preferably The Rock) at full blast volume and "go to town"!!! Would really love to get another one if I ever get the room...but that's going to take actually moving into a new house!!
