The food you eat . . .

Hello, all,

I was just e-mailing because I was curious what sort of "diet" you eat? Diet, not in the sense of a weight-loss plan, but diet meaning, what is a typical day's menu for you? How does that affect your mood, energy, etc?

Hi Chrissy,

I'm following BFFM right now and a typical day is:

Meal 1
1/2c Kashi Go Lean, 1/2c skim milk, wheat toast, 2tsp natural PB

Meal 2
1c oatmeal, 1/2c egg beaters, 1/2 grapefruit

Meal 3
3-4 oz ground turkey breast cooked with garlic, onions & soy sauce, small sweet potato, 2c romaine lettuce, 1T balsamic vinaigrette, 1c strawberries

Meal 4
3-4 oz chicken breast marinated in Pace salsa cooked on the Forman grill, 1c brocoli, 2c romaine lettuce, 1T balsamic vinaigrette

Meal 5
I struggle with this one because it is usually around 9pm so sometimes I just have a protein shake

I might snack on pistachio nuts or have a mini bag of low fat popcorn and try to drink at least 8 glasses of water per day

I have more energy and never feel hungry. It keeps my metabolism reved up because I'm eating every 3-4 hours.:9
