The Biggest Loser...

I've made it a weekly commitment to stop by the forum at least 3-4x's a week as accountability. Anywho, I've been watching the rerun's of the biggest loser and I am just so excited to see their accomplishments. I'm not as big as they start out and most of the women weigh less than what I do now. So I was so motivated that I amped up my workouts and been really thoughtful about my eating patterns. I don't have a scale but today I put on a pair of pants that I just wore only a month ago and they were kinda tight around the lower belly area but today it sagged! Yea! My tummy's not as big and I am really excited about what happened in only 1 week. I can't wait to see where I am in another 3 weeks.

Welcome to the forum!! And congratulations on your comittment to being healthier. Just remember being healthy with exercise and proper nutrition is a marathon and not a sprint. What I am trying to say is don't over do it. I do not mean to be presumptuous, but I know on the Biggest Loser they workout excessively and eat very low on calories. IM,O this is not a safe healthy way to do things. Be sure to take your rest days and make good choices for yourself and you will continue to be successful!! ;)

I LOVE the Style Channel and "The Biggest Loser" and "Clean House" are two of my favorite shows.

The Biggest Loser is very motivational and always inspires me and reinforces the importance of avoiding temptations.

When I am almost ready to buy even a single slice of cake, I think of the people on The Biggest Loser who are tempted like crazy and have the willpower to say no.

I wish I could do that with Pepsis and Cokes.

But for now, I'm hooked and I feel guilty, but decadent.

How are you able to control your strongest cravings?

Please tell me because I need help -- really a lot!

I had come down to no sodas a day and suddenly I went off the wagon.

I wish I had your fortitude because I am a major loser when it comes to drinking sugar laden sodas.

Watching TBL season #2 marathon that was on a year ago, New Year's Day got me out of my holiday funk and back in gear! I never watched the first season, but something really clicked with me and I 'connected' to the people in season 2 (especially Suzy!)
