Has anyone tried these workouts? I read great reviews on collage video about them. My friend also purchased the fluidity bar. I am debating whether to order the fluidity bar myself but it isnt cheap. Well over 200.00. any advice?

There was a discussion on this on a thread dated Jan. 17, 2007, titled "Question About Fluidity."

Laura,

Sorry. I didn't realize you had posted there and were aware of it. I think Marie was the only one who mentioned the Bar Method. I am still awaiting my Fluidity Barre and have in the meantime purchased both the Bar Method and Lotte Berk workout DVDs from Amazon.com. (Thank you Marie for helping me spend my $$$$.);) ;-) ;-) I plan to work them in as Marie suggested. I will be happy to share my results with you once I get going on it. I think a few others are in the early stages of using the Fluidity Barre or are just considering purchasing it, so we might get more information on the benefits of it in a month or two.

thanks,
my friend has the fluidity bar but isnt real religious with things so I wanted to hear from you all before spending that large amount of money. I might just start with the dvds first and go from there.

I have all of the Lotte Berk's but haven't done them in a while. I keep saying I'll use them when I do a "recovery week", but I just keep pushing on and haven't taken a recovery week lately. I'm planning on doing so soon. I have the Bar Methods, but have not tried them yet. I'll let you know how they are once I try them.

I've been wanting the Fluidity ones too........was thinking I'll ask for them for X-mas next year. Let us know if you get it. I've read about it on VF, but that $200 price tag is steep.

I got my fluidity barre last week and have done all the workouts once. I see myself using this system a lot to gain flexability - an area I really want to work on. I sold my P90X to offset the cost, and for me I think it was a very wise choice. I see myself using fluidity far more than P90X. Plus, I've got copies of Tony's rotations - and they're pretty straight forward if I ever want to run through them again. I'm quite happy with my Cathe's for strength though, so this barre was a worthwhile investment.
