Just a follow up to once again thank everyone for their encouragement and honesty about moving up. I am happy to report that I have gotten some new DVD's and am incorporating your suggestions into my plan. I am especially loving the Pyramid Upper Body workout, even though I fell off the ball at the end! I was able to do it and I feel so great. Your comments gave me the impetus to keep plugging away. Feel so lucky to have found you all!

Congratulations on your hard work and success! I can totally relate to PUB and the ball:p--your arms are so fried at the end.:eek:

Everyone has been ultra-supportive for me as well. I'm very grateful to all. I think that's what it's all about--helping and supporting each other on our fitness journey.

Happy to hear you liked the Pyramid workout, that one was clincher for me,
things just clicked after I started doing both upper & the lower, I did start
out with 8" step on the lower, working up riser by riser!

That's funny, I still think it's funny working out with the "beach ball"!

Pyramid Lower Body is my plan for today. I will need to figure out the bar. My husband has one, but I have never more than glanced at it. My upper body hurt so much when I woke up this morning that I was sweating. It hurt to lift my coffee cup! 4 Advil later and I am human. I will do PUB again early in the week, since I don't want to "waste this ache"!

PS: I have "rug burn" on my chin from when I fell off the ball. I need to think of a good story to tell, since no one would understand how I actually hurt myself :)
