Today was my running day and I just was not feeling it. Its hot in Chicagoland today for fall - 84 out now - and I just came back from a really unmotivated, craptastic run. I almost copped out and walked home. Then I realized my other Catheites are running the Chicago marathon today and here I am being a whiny sissy over a few miles The thought of you ladies pushing thru your 26 made me finish my measly 4 miles. Not my best, but I finished and thinking of you all kept my feet moving even though they didn't want to!!

The ladies have finished and are feeling GOOD!!! Visit the Cheetah's thread for some photos and commentary. Very nice marathon - very well supported. Glad they were able to give you the motivation you needed!

I had a classmate run it and she did quite well. I am glad the heat was not as bad as last year, although when I was out running errands in the late morning, I thought it was pretty toasty downstate and thought of the folks that had to run.
