Good morning!!

Today was hard getting out of bed!! I am off today, but the boys aren't so I couldn't decide if I wanted to workout before getting them off to school, or after. I decided before, that way I am ready to start the day at a decent hour. I need to start looking for something to wear to my DS13's bar mitzvah in Oct., so I am going shopping/looking today.

Here's my workout:

Gayle: how was PTTP?

Melissa: hope you enjoyed your rest day

Marcy: I like box jumps, just not sure I want to do them WITH someone (cathe) as opposed to doing them on my own. Glad you enjoyed your workout! I think you really enjoy the CIA workouts, don't you?

Jane: your workout looks fun! (they usually do!):) Hope you enjoyed it!

Rhonda: good job with providence!

Happy Friday everyone!!

Good morning!

Deanie - Nice workout this morning! PTTP is still going well. I like doing the DL/press then adding in some kind of Oly stuff after. I just wish the gym had some kettlebells for more options. Good luck shopping today.

Jane - I'm so glad to hear your Dad had a good day. :) Last nights workout looked like a burner.

Rhonda - Good job with Providence! I have a couple of pics f the kitchen. I just have to get them off the camera. The forum has a pretty easy way to attach a picture to a message. When your in reply mode, there's a button with a paper clip on it that allows you to attach a file. You click that and then browse to the file on your hard drive and then click the upload button.

Marcy - Nice calorie burn yesterday!

Happy Friday Everyone!

Tonight I'm going swimming. I won't have many days left for swimming so I'm going to try to go on Sunday or Monday too!

Last night's workout was a burner but it was fun. I love workouts those workout!! They keep the heart rate up there.

Deanie ~ Nice workout today. Hope you find the right outfit!

Gayle ~ Good job last night.

Marcy ~ I don't like running around my neighborhood. I get bored easily so I usually DRIVE to the downtown area and park and run around there. I love the downtown area and it's less hilly as well.

Waves hello to Rhonda and Melissa.

Hope everyone has a great Friday!!

Happy Friday!

This morning I did Low Impact Circuit- Timesaver Blast. I burnt 360 calories and my hr stayed in a decent zone. Went to KM last night but didn't break a sweat. It was more instructional than conditioning.

Deanie- Way to go on the wo this morning. What does one typically wear to a Bar Mitzvah? Is it like a mother of the bride type deal or just a nice suit?

Jane- Glad your dad had a good day yesterday. Enjoy the pool while you can.

Gayle- Thanks. I will look at that tip for pictures. What kind of game are you tailgating for?

Waves to Marcy and Melissa.

Mmmmmm...pancakes.

We're tailgating at a local college football game. I've never actually tailgated before, so this should be fun! :)

Okay, here are some pictures of the kitchen project. It's still in the messy stages, but there is a small light at the end of the tunnel.

Pic 1 - The old kitchen. It's eat-in and we had no dining room, so having dinner guests was always problematic. It opened right up to the living room. So we put an addition on one side of the house for a new kitchen, improved bathroom and improved 2nd bedroom. The old kitchen will be torn out and become the new dining room.

Pic 2 - Old kitchen partially torn out and the opening to the new one.

Pics 3 & 4 - Shots of the the kitchen with the drywall that was just finished yesterday.

We have the cabinets, so once we get the walls and ceiling primed and painted, we're going to start assembling those. Realistically, we probably have at least 6 months more work on it before we can start using it (because we're doing a lot of the finish stuff ourselves), but it's coming together. :)

Gayle: GREAT pictures. Even though the old kitchen is small, I like it. The new kitchen will be great (love the windows and slanted roof!) and it will be nice to have a dining room (we use our's often with company, because we have a small eat in kitchen!LOL What color are you going to paint the new kitchen?

great workout by the way. Still jealous you are deadlifting 4X a week!!!:p this will be your last day this week, how was it?

Jane: Glad to hear your dad had a good day yesterday:) Enjoy your swim today!

Rhonda: I haven't done step in a while. did you have fun? is LIC the one with Girls just want to have fun, in it? For a Bar Mitzvah dressy dresses or suits are usually the status quo. In the synagogue, your shoulders need to be covered, so shopping for a "dressier dress" was hard for me today. I am SOOOO not a suit person! so i will be wearing a dress.

Shopping today SUCKED!!(I know your shocked, because I rarely curse!!!) but nothing looked good, and nothing was what I thought would be appropriate. At one point, I said to myself, what the heck is wrong with me, I am trying on dresses/skirts size 2-4P and I'm still not happy!!! (was not happy with my abs and my arm could be more buff, but I think thats from me not eating alot of protiein....sorry, I' m totally off topic now!:confused:) so many dresses that were fun, were sleeveless and the more fancy dresses were very tailored. I don't like things that fit me, I feel confined in them. The sales girl at Ann Taylor kept saying I had a nice figure and why not wear something more form fitting,....but UGH! anyway, here is what I found on line, and I am thinking of getting....

dressy, but not to "mother of the bride" dressy, yet appropriate and for me, looks comfy too.

i will keep you all updated!

waves to everyone else

Hey guys, sorry I can't chat; I am off to a soccer game - of which I will be playing in with DD! - and I have to get ready. I went to the gym and did chest and tris - phew! I did two heavy sets/12-16 reps of 4 different exercises for each muscle group. Yowza! I feel it. :)

I hope that everyone has an excellent weekend. :)
